Highlights
- Ubud - Depart from your accommodation at either 1 or 2 in the morning to head to the starting point.
- Reach the basecamp or entrance of Mount Batur by 3:30 a.m.
- By approximately 5 a.m, make it to the initial summit where you’ll find a rock inscribed with ‘Gunung Batur’.
- By 5:30 a.m, summit Mount Batur and prepare to witness the sunrise.
- Begin the descent from Mount Batur at about 7 a.m.
- Prepare to head back down to the basecamp by 7:15 or 7:30 a.m.
- Return to the basecamp by 9 a.m and get ready for departure.
- Expect to be back at your accommodation by 11:30 a.m.
