Welcomed by a Balinese family, we set off to meet the inhabitants of their villages. As we stroll through rice paddies and plantations, we observe how rice is grown. In a relaxed atmosphere, we learn how to make coconut oil, ideal for cooking and massages. We are invited to discover the traditional cuisine prepared over a wood fire, and enjoy a home-made coffee. Under the proud and attentive gaze of our hosts, we interweave leaves and plant fibers to make a variety of colorful offerings. A unique day rich in exchange.
