The Chocolate Embassy provides remarkable chocolate experiences with a firm focus on quality. As soon as you step within our premises, you are wholly transported into the universe of chocolate & cacao. We, a pair of Ghent culinary enthusiasts, have devoted roughly three years to the exploration of Belgian artisanal chocolate, tasting more than 100 craft chocolates. Our store features artisanal chocolates from four of Belgium’s finest chocolatiers, representatives of the highest echelons of Belgian chocolate quality: from a traditional chocolate house run by the same family for 90 years, to a new breed of chocolatiers who roast their own cacao beans and instill adventurous flavours!

A Must when in Ghent, Belgium - Our first day in Ghent started with our private tasting with Dorien in their beautiful store. It was one of our best experiences in Ghent. We learned so much about chocolate and the process of making it. It was informative, interesting and fun as well as delicious. She opened my eyes and palate to unique flavors paired with the chocolates and left me wanting more artisanal Belgium chocolate.

More than just tasting s few truffles - So interesting to hear and taste so much about chocolate!! We loved the education in one of our favorite subjects. Got to taste chocolate in multiple forms as well as a wonderful selection of beautiful bonbons. Dorian was so kind and very responsive to our tastes. Well worth the time and price.

Nice tour that I can recommend to everyone. - Had a fun and educational experience about making chocolate from start to finish. This of course also included tasting different chocolates, so it was an excellent tour that I can recommend to everyone.

Fantastic chocolate tasting experience - This was a wonderful experience with Dorien. She spent an unhurried 2 hours sharing with us the world of chocolate in her adorable shop in Ghent. We learned so much (about bean-to-bar chocolatiers versus traditional chocolatiers, growers, industry standards, etc) and tasted some excellent chocolate and drink pairings. You will get plenty of chocolate! There are many, many chocolate shops in Belgium and differentiating which ones are special is hard as a visitor. After our chocolate tasting at Chocolat Ambassade (her shop), we can definitely appreciate the differences more! This is a great opportunity to learn from a lovely small business owner. If you're having trouble finding her, look for the shop by name: Chocolat Ambassade.

Very successful experience. - We had a very interesting and very enjoyable tasting! Lots of information, nicely presented by the hostess and we were able to taste very tasty chocolate. They took us into the special world of chocolate in 2 hours and we really learned a lot that we didn't know before! The hostess was able to answer our questions well and had a lot to tell us. Highly recommended if you are in Ghent!

Memorable experience, well worth it - Very knowledgeable about chocolate. Learned a lot about how it is made and tasted delicious things. There was a lot of variation and the structure was very good. There was certainly a personal touch, so we also ate a delicious chocolate with balsimic vinegar. Was a gift for my girlfriend and she loved it. Thank you! 100% recommended
