Following our morning meal, we venture to Aphrodisias. The Ancient City of Aphrodisias stands as one of the significant archaeological sites from the Greek and Roman epochs in Turkey, dedicated initially to the Ancient Mother Goddess and subsequently to the Greek Goddess Aphrodite.
Next, we visit Pamukkale, a site acknowledged as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The captivating aesthetic of Pamukkale came about from the warm teardrops of nature, as if the dazzling beauty of a white pearl on Cleopatra’s chest inspired these natural masterpieces. Pamukkale’s distinct terraces of calcium and hot spring water pools will awe you as you stroll barefoot on its expansive white splendor.
We then journey to Hierapolis, alternatively known as “Hireapolis” or the “Holy City”, introduced to Christianity by Paul and Epaphras. The Apostle Philip also resided and was laid to rest here. Our visit includes the Odeon, the Roman Baths, and the Theatre.
At the tour’s conclusion, we return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
