Best tour ever! - Having been to Madeira quite a few times we wanted a new way to explore. This trip could not have been more perfect. Picked up from the hotel by the delightful Goth who, from the first second to the last, was courteous, enthusiastic, responsive to our wishes and absolutely loves his job. He promised us that he would take us to places we had not been too before and he delivered! My ex-biker partner (82 yrs) was in his element. Our only regret is that we hadn’t booked for a longer trip but we will definitely be back!

One not to miss - If you want to see the Madeira in all its glory then this is a unique way to do it. My wife and I enjoyed the experience so much and plan to do this again next time we visit. John was great and lets you take as long or little as you need when you stop and gives you a run down of all the facts which was fantastic. We had a great day so well worth a go

Great fun and the best way to travel. - Fabulous trip out with João today, a really unusual and so much more interesting way to visit places on the island. We suggested a place to visit and João added stunning view points, local knowledge, a coffee stop and lots of humour. Highly recommend this type of adventure tour of beautiful Madeira and we will definitely be doing a return outing.

Trike tour around Maderia. - All I can say is that if you wish to take a tour around the island then this is the way to do it! Our driver/guide Garth was very knowledgeable about the sights he took you too,and also took pictures for you to capture your experience. A brilliant excursion: thank you! - My wife and I enjoyed our trike trip very much. It was brilliant! We were very comfortable, felt safe and our driver/guide was superb: friendly, helpful, informative and enthusiastic. A brilliant excursion: thank you! Details: Our guide/driver/host was on time, rolling up the road with a generous smile! I had asked for a large helment for me (I know that I have a big head) and a small one for my wife (she has a small head) and from the back-box/boot/storage locker, he fished out what looked to be new, appropriately sized helmets - excellent. They were comfortable helmets with a sparkingly clear visor which lifted up and dropped down as required. The seating was like a double arm chair (with seat belt) and was very comfortable. There was an adjustable foot-rest for each seat and the seated position gave a clear view forward. John (Joao) was our driver, such a very nice man. He knows where to go, what to see, where to take you to avoid local weather. I showed him a map of where we had already been during our holiday and so where we didn't really want to duplicate and he took us to some marvellous places where we hadn't been before and once there, we had as much (or as little) time as we wanted. There was no rush - but no time wasted either. He took a load of photographs of us both on the machine and when we were wandering around, some contrived, many casual... very nice to have as we rarely get photographs together. The tour we paid for was 3 hours and it was lovely to be able to see and smell and experience the outdoors, the wind and the sunshine (and a little drizzle) on our trip - we felt very safe in his capable hands... We stopped for a coffee toward the end of our time and John was so laid back - take your time - giving us really good recommendations for eateries, levadas we have yet to walk, points of interest and actually had me sign up to a couple of useful Apps for use on Madeira. He was a mine of information - generous with his time. For the trip back we were asked whether we minded being taken along the dual carriage way - we were, by that time, completely confident in our driver and the vehicle. I estimate that we headed back at an exhilarating 60 mph, being buffetted by the wind. It was a great trip - really great, and had we had time we would have gone out again the following week. We will certainly employ John and his smart trike next time we are in Madeira. Oh, and true to his word, he WhatsApped me the 27 pictures he'd taken on our excursion.

Lovely way to see the island - Was a really brill day from start to finish was on a cruise ship just for the day and wanted to see more than the town .we were picked up outside the museum he asked us if we wanted to see anything in particular but we just trusted his judgement.stopped at a little fishing village and tried the local drink poncho wow a bit strong but lovely ,would recommend to anyone

A great experience - A brilliant day touring the west of the island. The trike was very comfortable and John was very knowledgeable. We have done a trip before and will certainly do more next time we visit Madeira

Revved up. - Absolutely loved it from start to finish the host showed us some great spots and very informative and took lots of pictures of us and sent them to us,I would definitely recommend trike adventures.

So good we did it twice! - Hands down the best trips we did in Madeira, picked up from our hotel by John the first trip we went to a little fishing village, a wine tasting and up to the skywalk. John was such a lovely guy & very knowledgeable about the island we had such a good time we booked another trip this time up into the mountains and then down into Nuns valley, especially enjoyed the chestnut beer & cherry rum! 😂👍 If you're in Madeira book a trip with adventure trikes you won't regret it!! 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
