The time-honored Baglio (a traditional Sicilian courtyard equipped with a watering bath for cattle and gelsomina trees providing shelter) has its origins traced back to the early 19th century. It was once the property of Jesuit Priests who used it for prayer within the Manostalla domain of the Chiarelli Rossotti Barons of Pietralonga. Spanning nearly 250 hectares, the farm land encompasses organic vineyards, olive plantations and forests that extend towards the sea.
