Cruise & Nature Walk -Franz Josef - We got an amazing day for it! Lovely cruise across the lake with great information on the area from both Joe & Dylan...choice to stay on the boat for some fishing or get off and do a short nature hike, we took the walk & learnt all about conservation efforts in the area as well as being stalked by a fanned tailed bird :) Enjoyed a hot beverage before taking the boat back...lovely experince for my mam as well, would recommend for those looking for low impact walks etc.

fun and informative - Dale was a great guide full of knowledge and a few jokes to lighten the mood. It was a great tour and I learnt alot about NZealand culture, flora and fauna

Super Tour - Excellent tour our guide Joe was very knowledgeable and interesting we had brilliant time. Would highly recommend. Hot chocolate stop was unexpected and very welcome.

Such a peaceful evening - It was way more fun than I even expected, so worth spending an evening being out there in this gorgeous place. Didn’t think I’ll learn so much or I’d have such a great time.

Fantastic Scenery not to be missed... - One of the best local experiences I have been on as a Kiwi in my own country!! Exceptional... Dale is an extremely knowledgeable guide, so relaxed and friendly and took us on a magic trip across the lake early morning on a still calm day. The bush walk is so unique - seeing the natural habitat of the Kiwi, and native plant and tree species is incredibly special. I would say this is a do not miss tour for anyone - top value for money in the South Island. I would definitely go again at a different time of year...

A magical morning on the lake and in the rainforest - highly recommend! - Our guide was truly interested in ecology and flora and fauna of New Zealand. He had lots of anecdotes to share about local history and culture, and was very proactive in pointing out many of the hidden gems amidst our rainforest hike. Our expectations were exceeded in the time spent together and it was a most enjoyable morning spent around the Franz Josef area.

Picture perfect - We had Joe and Linda as our guides. What a magic afternoon. Joe is very knowledgeable, and with the help of a walking pole I managed the walk with a twisted ankle. The lake was so picture perfect. Weather slightly cloudy which prevented a view of the Glacier but not too hot. Linda the dancing queen lead a 10 second dance on arrival back to shore. Absolutely 💯 recommended.

Excellent - The young lady taking the tour was excellent, very knowledgeable about the rain forest and very entertaining. It was a small group of only 3 people which made the day.
