Get an intensive introduction to Florence facilitated by a local guide that will help ease your transition into the sun-drenched heart of the Renaissance, Italy. Explore six of the most stimulating areas in central Florence, as well as key landmarks such as the Florence Cathedral, Piazza Santa Felicità, and the medieval tunnelled road, Via dei Girolami. Discover tales of the city’s past, including the Via dei Calzaioli, a street of shoemakers which reportedly gave the artist Bronzino headaches due to the noise. Feel free to ask your local expert anything you’d like to know, possibly while enjoying a steamy espresso and a crispy biscotti at either Vivoli or Robiglio.

After you book, within the first 24 hours, you will receive a brief questionnaire about your personal preferences and tastes. Using your answers, a compatible guide will be matched to you. Martina Kickstarted My Trip! - I love Martina! She was an excellent tour guide. While walking around, she pointed out the different influences of the Medieval and Renaissance periods in the architecture. Very kind when answering my overly simplistic questions. She also made sure to ask what I was interested in so she covered all the bases. Our last stop was a bite to eat at a local panini shop with a bit of wine. Delicious! Very much enjoyed the tour around Florence with her.

Welcome to Florence! - Michaela was so articulate, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We covered several areas of the city, stopped for a cappuccino and were able to enjoy the city so much more after our tour. He even gave some great recommendations for restaurants, shops and other areas of the City.

Florence Walking Overview - We met with MaRiLisa right on time for a three hour walk/stroll through Florence. We strolled the historic streets and sites, learning the history in the local, family businesses backstreets of Florence. We began near the western arch to the city and ended on the eastern side, on the north side of the river. Near the end we toured the leather school/factory and watched the leathersmiths work their magic on the different pieces they were working on. All in all a delightful three hours with the knowledgeable, personable MaRiLisa, learning history and how life is lived here today.

Tour around Florence City Centre with Jacopo - Florence is a city that I have wanted to visited for many years and I could literally not have picked a better tour guide than Jacopo in that he is a local Florentino and what better way to see the city than with a local? Jacopo took his time in guiding me around the city as we went to explore the many Architectural wonders and artifacts that Florence has to offer and places that I wanted to see of personal interest and explanation of the historical importance of the river Arno and the connection with the development of the city. I have been on many public and private tours and have felt that at times they were sometimes rushed but I like the ease of Pace that Jacopo took to make sure that I did not miss anything and helps the fact that he is pretty open to be able to ask anything and might add he does have a great sense of humour in which I discovered he is also a stand up comedian which he probably will not like me mentioning 🤣 …anyhow rest assured!! I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is planning to visit Florence and needs a tour guide. Thank you for showing me around your beautiful City Jacopo 😊

Perfect introduction to Florence - Maia was a fantastic guide with encyclopedic knowledge of the history and art of Florence. She took me to some amazing places I would not have otherwise visited and was able to tell the story of each place. I highly recommend her.

Florence Come Alive! - We had a wonderful morning in Florence with our guide, Daniel. He showed us the highlights of Florence as well as hidden gems we wouldn't have seen on our own. Daniel was very attentive to our interests and engaged a taxi when we asked. I highly recommend this tour!
