Great experience in the other Tuscany - My wife and I recently had a wonderful time visiting places in Tuscany, some of which were well off the beaten path. The base for our tour was provided through the hospitality of Francesca and Carlo at the Dimora Casa Eugenia in Loro Ciuffenna. They and their staff supplied excellent accommodations and wonderful food at the beginning and end of each tour day. In between we were driven and guided by Paolo who filled each trip with interesting history and personal stories filled with his passion for the region. You should definitely ask for Paolo to be your driver if at all possible.
We benefitted by the fact that we were the only people on our tour. This gave us freedom and opportunity to know the people better than being part of a larger group. I am sure our 2-person tour barely paid for expenses, but it was very nice to know that our tour wasn't cancelled because of the low attendance. I thank Matteo for this courtesy.

Discovering Tuscany - We had such a wonderful trip. Matteo planned a thoughtful itinerary which brought us to so many interesting places in Tuscany including visiting castles, monasteries several vineyards with wonderful food and wine tasting.
Could not have asked for a better driver/tour guide. Paolo shared with us not only his wealth of knowledge of Tuscany but also his attachment to the region and never hesitated to answer our questions. Enjoyed the free time in the various towns.
The accommodations were well chosen. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The staff was professional and easy to talk with. Having our cappuccino waiting for us at breakfast was a special treat. It was also nice to dine with the same small group at mealtime. This gave us time to share our daily adventures.
Could not have asked for a more enjoyable tour.

Can't wait to return to Tuscany - My daughter and I both agree that we can't choose just one thing as our favorite. The entire week was fabulous! Paolo was our driver and told us interesting things about each town we visited. We had plenty of time to explore each town and experience the atmosphere and food. The Farmhouse where we stayed was so nice. It's family run and we had great accommodations and the food was fantastic.

Bellissimo .... A wonderful week to remember in Tuscany! - My parents just returned from a week in Tuscany with Matteo. Here is their review...."My husband and I have just spent an unforgettable week in Tuscany doing the "La Grandiosa Toscana Tour". Tuscany Untouched came highly recommended from our friends who had done a trip last year and, it did not disappoint. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the history and unrivalled hospitality of the region. Matteo introduced us to experiences we would never have found and Oscar is a wonderful host at the farmhouse overlooking the valley. Matteo took us to wonderful wineries, local towns and ate amazing local food. Certainly places you would never visit as part of a big tour. We would give Matteo the highest rating and wish “ Tuscany Untouched” a wonderful future".

Tuscany Tour - My wife and I spent 2 weeks in Italy at the end of September. The highlight of our trip was the 3 days we spent in Tuscany with Matteo. His local knowledge and connections made for an incredible unforgettable experience.He took us to places and restaurants we could have never found on our own. The Farmhouse was very comfortable and the views were spectacular. if you go to Italy and you don't experience Tuscany, you have not seen the best Italy has to offer. Matteo definitely enhanced our experience!!!

Wonderful Week - I cannot say enough good things about this tour. First of all Matteo is the absolute best tour guide. He has a wonderful busy itinerary but is also very flexible. His knowledge of the area is amazing! He has selected the most enjoyable vineyards to visit. Several of the tastings included lunch and this was such a nice addition. Our group of six Texas girls really feel like we got to see and experience Tuscany!

Amazing 7 day Tuscany Tour - My husband and I had a fabulous 7 days in Tuscany with Matteo as our guide. He took us to incredible medieval towns that were not overrun with tourists. We visited amazing wineries and authentic Tuscany restaurants. Matteo was always punctual and gave us plenty of time to explore villages and sights. The accommodation at La Capraia was lovely with beautiful views of the Tuscany countryside.

Exceptional. Authentic. Informative. Friendly. - Matteo has planned and executed a comprehensive historically relevant, culturally poignant and thoroughly enjoyable insight to the Tuscan region. Bravo. His selection of La Capraia is sensational. As for the La Capraia family, Michelin could learn a thing or two.

Great itinerary - A well thought out itinerary allowing a real appreciation of what Tuscany has to offer. Experienced the magic of Tuscany and all it offers.
