Meknes and Volubilis Day Excursion: Our journey will lead us to another royal city dubbed as the Moroccan Versailles. Under the rule of the Alaouite sultan Moulay Ismail, in the 17th century, Meknes was the epitome of beauty and power in Morocco as it served as the capital then. Meknes had the honor of being both Morocco’s former capital and the very first Moroccan Islamic city. Established by The Almoravids dynasty as a military stronghold in the 11th century. Meknes is enveloped by a wall that extends to 25km in length and reaches up to 15m in height, embellished with magnificent gates such as Bab Mansour. Right opposite to it, you’d find the esteemed Place Hdim that mirrors Jamaa Lafna of Marrakech. Your guide will escort you to captivating tourist spots that you’ll undoubtedly love on your Meknes and Volubilis Day expedition. Amazing experience - Great excursion!! Driver Abdellah very welcoming and warm and great guide! Very clean and comfortable car! Very good guide too, the tour was incredible! One of the best activities was the one in Ifran with the little monkeys. A big thank you to him 🫶🏻
