GREAT BIRTHDAY GIFT! - I gifted this tour to my mother for her birthday - she had been to Istanbul a lot of times, so was looking for something new and unique. The experience was definitely worth the walk in the rain and was filled with interesting facts that no typical tourist would ever find out alone! Our guide Bengi was very warm and welcoming and spoke amazing Italian. Can definitely recommend this tour if you like hidden gems and unexpected findings of art Deco. Was overall a wonderful way of celebrating a birthday (with the cherry on the cake being the glasses of champagne at the beautiful lounge areas of Pera Palace).

The reminiscence of the epoch gone (Alas!) - The tour surpassed all our expectations. It has brought us back to the world of luxury, elegance, exclusive dwellings with refined and decorative exteriors and interiors. The route as well as the sites we have visited are very well selected. Besides the architecture, facts from the biographies of famous people we have also got a very good background of the interwar Turkey. Many thanks to our guide Ahmet for his job: he is good story teller, attentive to tourists’ questions and his dignified manner of presenting the material is so compatible with the times he is telling about. And of course it’s worth mentioning the drinks and treats during the tour. Very delicious and refreshing. We highly recommend trying this experience. You’ll really have enjoyable time and long-lasting memories.

Mystery, magic and more on Agatha Christie’s Istanbul life - As a family of lifelong Agatha Christie fans we were thrilled to discover this tour and learn more about her time in Istanbul, visit the grand hotel she stayed in, and of course sample local wines - which were a delightful surprise. Our guide was a fabulous storyteller, patient with our endless questions and gave us a lot of time at each stop. Don’t miss out on this tour. You’ll definitely feel like you’re walking in Agatha’s footsteps!

Perfect tour for history and wine lovers! - I had such an amazing time on this tour with Vines and Pearls. If you love history, wine, and architecture it’s definitely the tour for you! Every detail was perfectly thought through, and our guide was super knowledgeable and engaging. I loved being able to see a unique side of Istanbul’s history and architecture, and especially loved the beautiful Pera Palace. My favorite part though was the wine tasting! The old Greek winery we went to exuded charm, and it was so interesting to be able to taste and learn about Turkish native grape varieties. I would highly recommend the Art Deco and Prosecco tour, and will definitely do another tour with Vines and Pearls the next time I’m in Istanbul!

A completely different take on Istanbul - We took this tour on the 3rd day of our visit to Istanbul, after taking a day to see the museums and other famous must-see-spots and I must say, it felt like we're seeing a completely different Istanbul. Our guide Elvan took us through tiny streets that had so mush character and had so much patients with us when we had to pause every few steps to take the pictures and observe everything we were seeing. The stories we heard made the experience super fun and put many things into perspective as we walked our way. Highly recommend!

Thank you! - We really liked the tour with stops around the 20th century district: we tasted wine in a historic winery, very tasty desserts made by the chef, high tea with prosecco and what I really liked - with live piano music. We also visited the historic train station where the Orient train used to arrive (Agatha Cristie wrote the book here - Murder on The Orient express).

Walking the Agatha Christie path - What an interesting tour! Had no idea Turkey and Istanbul were such an inspiration to Agatha Christie. I received this tour as a gift from my friends and we had so much fun visiting the Art Deco cafes, walking through the Galata neighbourhood and my favorite part, enjoying a wine tasting ❤️ It’s been years since I read Murder on Orient Express but I downloaded to my kindle to re-read parts of it after this tour.

A must for Christie lovers! - As soon as I found this tour, I knew I had to take it. I'm a huge Agatha Christie fan and it was so cool to follow her footsteps here! My guide was great and had so much knowledge about all the places we toured. I really loved especially stopping at the train station and hearing about the Orient Express. My favorite part though was ending the tour with tea at the Pera Palace hotel! Definitely recommended for Christie lovers!
