Cruise excursion Costa Rica - Driver Gee Gee was very good. Although, didn't speak too much English. Fortunately a lady on the party spoke Spanish and kindly translated through the day. Boat ride was best part of Tour for me.

A 3 hr local tour - Ron Lobo, an excellent English speaker, gave us an in depth narration off all aspects of Costa Rican culture as he drove us to the Natuwa Bird Sanctuary, followed by a tour of area. Ron was there for us as we customized the tour for things that we wanted to see as well as showing us some hidden gems. He was excellent.

Hats off to the two of them for their efforts to make us feel welcome, and comfortable throughout the day. They made our experience unique. Enrique's English was very impressive and was very comfortable to converse with. Very well informed, thank you for making our day, once again. Viator is a super reliable company to book through.

Our guide Harol picked us up at the... -
Our guide Harol picked us up at the cruise ship terminal and showed us a great time in Costa Rica. We fed the capuchin monkeys along
the highway, enjoyed a fresh fruit smoothie further along the way very refreshing on a hot humid day and took a crocodile tour on the
Tarcoles River. Our young river guide actually hopped off the boat and hand fed 3 fish to a crocodile they have named Lady Gaga! We saw lots of beautiful birds that make this river their home. He drove us to forest where we saw macaws then up to a beautiful view point all the while entertaining us with jokes, songs and music trivia. Our stop at a market where we could shop was a little shorter than I would have liked but all in all it was a great day spent in Costa Rica made especially great by Harol!

We got to see monkeys which came right up to us and sat on our shoulders eating bananas, and crocodiles eek!. The guide jumped out of our boat at one point and walked right up to an 18' crock to feed it. It made for some great pictures, but I was genuinely scared I was going to watch a man get eaten by a crocodile!! Lunch was not included, but there is a fun tourist-y spot that we stopped at where we could have bought it. The guide did try to upsell us most of the trip into doing more excursions maybe that's where the 6 come from?. Overall it was an enjoyable trip, and a fun day.
