A Unique, Memorable Experience in Uganda - The trip to Bwindi forest was so much fun and comfortable. The hotel stay and friendlieness of the stay was incredible. Getting to see the gorillas was a once in a lifetime event, and Lulu did a great job with communication. The best thing was my tour guide, Sam. We shared great stories and I got to meet his other travel guides in my journey. In all, I would do it again!

Seamless Gorilla Trek Adventure! - We had a great time with Audence as our guide. He was thorough and most importantly safe. Helped us with border crossing into Uganda, provided plenty of water, and tips on how to manage the Gorilla hike. Highly recommend!

A local experience and the path less tracked - We have been on many tours but this was a trip of a lifetime and what made it even more special was our tour guide Smith. He went above and beyond what was on the tour agenda and gave us a proper local experience of life in Uganda, dancing and singing with local communities was such an amazing experience. He made our experience do memorable and would always go the extra mile. He is an extremely friendly guy with lots of connections and helped us get on a gorilla trek with less people so we could have a better experience on the trek. The accommodation and lodges booked by Lulu Safaris was beyond our expectations. Every lodge we stayed in had it's own unique experience from staying in lodges in the forest from staying in rooms with amazing views of the lake. We highly recommend booking a trip with Smith and Lulu Safaris and you will create memories to last a lifetime.

Great trip in Uganda - I had an amazing four days in Uganda with my guide, Otis. From start to finish the trip was incredible. The highlights were gorilla and chimp trekking, but my safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park was great too.

Lulu Safaris Gorilla Trek and More - What can I say about Lulu Safaris and my wonderful guide Smith: Truly some of the best days of my life creating amazing memories. From the beginning Lulu Safaris was extremely flexible on my last minute scheduling (3 days in advance). Smith, my guide, picked me up from my hotel and gave me a wonderful tour of Kigali before heading to the mountains. Smith catered to my every need, stopping to take pictures wherever I desired and answering every one of my questions. Smith is extremely knowledgeable about Rwanda and Uganda and his enthusiasm and humility is contagious. Every leg of the journey Smith had friends to make the experience even more enjoyable. Getting to learn about the culture and hang out with locals was so rewarding. Seeing the gorillas and golden monkeys so close and in such great numbers exceeded my expectations. Every lodge I stayed at was 5 star accommodation and service. I cannot recommend Lulu Safaris enough and I most certainly will be back for more adventures. Thank you so much Smith and Lulu Safaris for an unforgettable experience.

Great gorilla trekking experience - We had 4 days we Lulu Safari with Samuel as our guide and driver. Light Golden Monkey and adventurous Gorillas. Samuel was great. He was caring about us constantly. It was quite a difficult drive from Bwindi to Buyoni lake due to heavy rain, but he managed it perfectly. I definitely recommend them for your safari’s.

Roads were crazy ... had a great driver though. - A trip to remember. Thank goodness for our great driver, SMITH, he was amazing. For such a young man he certainly knew the roads and got us there through thick and thin. He always had a smile. Needed a rain jacket and got one for me. Don't hesitate to do this tour with him. Felt at ease and was a tour of a lifetime.

Amazing and incredible! - This was the most amazing trip I have ever been on. Lulu Safaris is really great. We were picked up by Samuel from our hotel in Entebbe and returned at the end to Kigali airport Rwanda. Bush lodge was fantastic overlooking river with Hippos and close to Queen Elizabeth park. Samuel is a great guide and a really good driver. So many beautiful animals. We are 2 women in our 60's and always felt very safe and comfortable. Bwindi was just amazing and Bweeza lodge is very close and comfortable. The staff there are so nice and pampered us thoroughly! We were very fortunate (I think influenced by Samuel) that we were assigned to a family of gorillas that were very very close so not too much hiking although we did follow the gorillas as they moved around. I do recommend hiring porters to help you climb and carry pack. Watching these beautiful creatures is awe inspiring. I highly recommend Lulu and especially Samuel for a wonderful trip to Uganda! Hint: Bring lots of candy for children, lots!

DO NOT TOUR WITH THIS COMPANY. TERRIBLE TOUR! - I would first like to say that this was the worst tour company I could have ever taken. The tour guide Audence picked me up and off the bat had an attitude. He didn’t introduce himself, or seem Enthusiastic at all, as I expect a tour guide to be. The tour Company Lies on the itinerary, I was supposed to do a few things that I didn’t get to do on the first day because Audence who was the tour guide thought that it wouldn’t work for him. In turn I didn’t get to do one activity towards the end, and other activities felt rushed because they weren’t done on the first day. I mentioned this issue to Elvis, who is the owner of the Company but nothing seemed to have changed for the rest of the trip. The tour guide was not informative on any Of the important sites we visited. He didn’t provide any information, only just pointed out the “names” of them. As we went to these historic sites, I had to google most information. In addition to this, the company and the owner failed to mention that none of the accommodations provided had air conditioning or a fan. I mentioned this to Elvis and he acted as if he didn’t know, but when I asked the hotel they informed me that this has always been the case for that specific hotel. As we were driving throughout Uganda and Rwanda, I asked Audence many times about stopping to get something to eat, but we drove non stop from place to place. This tour was a dreadful experience. Having to deal with a guide who had an attitude, and is uninformative shouldn’t be a guide at all. The company lies and should not even be taking any customers. From the lies, to the unprofessionalism this was by far one of my worst experiences traveling 7 countries in Africa. Uganda and Rwanda are both beautiful countries, but I urge you to choose another tour operator with more reviews than this company has.
