Excellent experience. Try it! - The experience was excellent! We had a large group but everyone had a great time. It was chilly but they had extra gear to make it comfortable for everyone. He guides were brilliant. Couldn't recommend enough.

Great float! - Floated racecourse with Garrett in 1 of 2 boats. Early morning departure so we were first trip on the river. We had hoped to go earlier in the year with better water but was happy to see Far Flung was still offering floats. Easy to work with and a good time!

A Great Trip on The Race Course - I was visiting Taos for Michael Hearne 's Big Barn Dance and decided to drive out to The Gorge Bridge while waiting for my Air B&B check in. I remembered from a previous 2019 trip , Taos Box, that The Far Flung office was very close. I stopped in to investigate the possibilities of fitting a rafting trip into my stay. I decided on early 1/2 day Race Course trip. Even a low water levels the trip was fun, the scenery was beautiful. Our guides Brian and Chaz were efficient, thorough, and knowledgeable. My only complaint is the 1/2 day trip is too short to have the famous FFA riverside sandwich spread! I will return to Taos and you can bet I will get on the river with Far Flung!

Fun Rafting trip with Far Flung Adventures - We booked a rafting trip with Far Flung Adventures. They were flexible with the schedule to accommodate our travel. Our guide Nick was very thorough with safety information, was well informed about history and other fun facts, and gave great instructions during the tour. It was a very fun trip and we’d absolutely do it again.

Raft-tastic - Excellent guides and professional organization. Laid back approach through a challenging racecourse. Kids loved it! Highly recommend!!

Lower Gorge & Racecourse Awesome Experience! - This was the full-day package with the famous Racecourse in the afternoon and the Lower Gorge in the morning. We reserved online for the Taos Box but that day the water was too low and we were called by kind staff people to see if we would be interested in something else. We were flexible so no problem. Our guide, Garrett, was extremely knowledgeable about rafting and safety. You are in good hands with him. He made us a nice lunch of deli meat sandwiches and potato salad, and cookies. His great attitude and dry humor made for a perfect day. You'll get wet, but you'll have fun.

Absolutely Inspiring and Informative Tour and FUN - The experience was largely shaped by our guide Bobby. He is an extraordinary human being, kind, sensitive, confident and skilled. What could have been a stressful, scary ride was fun and exhilarating. He gave clear instructions, made us feel like a team and provided interesting and unique information about the nature we were in and the surrounding area. The your was easy to book, excellent instructions and very upbeat. I absolutely recommend this tour as a adventure, meeting new interesting people and experiencing New Mexico through the Rio Grande and its surroundings
