Great Experience and knowledgable staff! - Captain Steve and his crew were very professional and knowledgable. I loved how the guides got in the water with us and pointed out all the sea life. One crew member shared all her knowledge about the sea turtles. Staff was friendly and the service was great too. It was a memorable family experience.

Can't wait to go again next time we are in St. Thomas... - My husband and I love snorkeling and thought this would be a fun way to go to other locations we wouldn't normally go. Check in was easy and it was a full boat, but plenty of room for everyone to sit comfortably. There is a bathroom on board so no need to worry about that. Ice water, soda, and juice available before snorkeling. Snorkeling gear was handed out along with a bright yellow life vest to wear in the water. The first stop was 45 minutes and we saw a giant eagle ray. We are larger people and it was still easy to get back in the boat up the heavy duty ladder. There were chips and cookies available to snack on. Then off to the second location at St. James. Lots of fish near the rocks. They bought 13 pizzas from a floating pizzeria called pizza pi. It was great and paired nicely with the flowing pain killers and rym punch drinks out of the open bar. There was also a huge cooler full of different kinds of beer. The caption (Andy) and crew (Dalles & Jamie) were lots of fun. Playing good music and after taking a group photo got everyone to do some dancing while the sun was setting. Got back to the dock after dark. Made sure to tip the staff well because they deserved it. They made the trip so much fun. If you're looking for a snorkeling excursion this one is a lot of bang for your buck. 5.5 hours on the boat, two snorkeling locations, snacks, pizza, and an open bar.... Can't beat that. Kids could go on this excursion but i would recommend leaving them behind and having an adult only adventure.

Great snorkeling trip - This snorkeling trip is great value. We enjoyed seeing turtles in Maho Bay and enjoyed the reef and colorful fish in Salomon bay/Honeymoon beach. The crew was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed a couple of cocktails after snorkeling. We researched a lot of snorkeling trips before booking this one. This one was not too expensive and was only a few hours versus a full day. We highly recommend it.

So much fun - CJ the captain was amazing. She was funny and entertaining! Her 2nd mate Steve was cool too! He kept us hydrated and entertained as well. CJ took us to spots where we saw sea turtles, lots of tropical fish, and sting rays. Such a cool experience. It was my first time and it was easier than i thought.

Memorable experience!! - We booked this excursion while on a cruise and could t have been more happy with it. I have only been snorkeling a handful of times and remembered how magical it was. I was hoping this would be the same. First off, everyone we dealt with was extremely friendly and helpful. They seemed to genuinely love what they do, from the people that coordinated our pick ups from the Ocean Safari store on both ends, (I am SO sorry I forgot their names), to the boat crew. The waters were mildly choppy which made the boat ride a blast for me. We went to the first snorkel spot, and unfortunately the waters were a little too rough for the group unexpectedly. The crew was quick to round us up and take us to the next spot giving us more time there. At first I was worried the trip would soon come to an end because of the conditions, but they knew the best place to go. And the snorkeling there left me with that “magical” feeling I was hoping for. Without the crowds!!! I saw a stingray, multiple sea turtles munching on the sea grass, a squid, and all different types of cool fish! My boyfriend claimed to see a Barracuda in the distance but freaked out. The crew were also amazing! They were fun but also remained professional and made sure to educate us on the importance of how to treat the wild life and reefs, as well as boat safety. I once again feel bad for not remembering their names. And of course, the Pain Killers were delicious!! 110% would recommend and do again. I really appreciated their knowledge of knowing what spots to go to, to give us the experience we were looking for given the circumstances of the water. I wish I could have bought stuff from the Ocean Safari shops but unfortunately that stuff doesn’t do us any good in Wisconsin! Maybe one day we will move where it is warmer with beautiful waters!

Turtles, rays and fish! - The trip was very good. Very informative, with both a turtle and a coral expert on board. The crew was pro-active and attentive, which has to be tough with a large group (approx 30.) We made two stops -- Maho and Scott beaches. We saw turtles, fish and a ray. The only nit I might offer is that it would've been great to go to an area not accessible by foot.

Good Snorkeling Spots - The crew took us to some very good snorkel spots. We saw lots of fish and turtles in both bays. Our guides were very knowledgeable. They knew where the best places were to see the turtles and fish.

Great day on the water! - Clean and well maintained boat! Safety first mentality. Very knowledgeable of the area and the park and islands. Snorkeling locations were perfect. Only con I have was not being notified well enough in advance of what our taxi drivers car number was. We stood out of the port for a pretty long time and was asked to be there no later than 815 am. We didn’t receive a phone call about it until 822am after the driver got frustrated trying to find us. Other than that, it was a great day on the water. Captain has a very good first mate on his hands!

Highly Disappointing - We were so disappointed! We booked the trip for one of our only free mornings while we were in town, caught a taxi into town and waited for over an hour to be told the tour was cancelled. When checking in the morning of we were asked to tip the captain and told that “20% is industry standard”, we have NO issue with tipping service workers however tipping before meeting the captain is quite counterintuitive, a tip is meant to show appreciation for the service, not as a set rate. We are still waiting for the refund and very disappointed in the service they provided. I understand having to cancel but spending $80 round trip on a taxi to waste the majority of the morning was highly disappointing. the only solution the company could find was “possibly” taking us out the following weekend “if enough people joined the tour”. Overall we chose to cancel due to the run around and wasted money, still hoping on a refund! We’ve heard good things from others who have taken the tour but would definitely recommend snorkeling around independently! Maho and Cinnamon Bay alone have enough to offer you don’t need a boat!
