It is a cluster of Hindu temples located in the Duy Phu commune, Duy Xuyen district. It was once a place of worship where the Cham-Pa (known as Cham people, today) would make sacrifices to the Gods. Built between the 4th
13th century A.D., this famous architectural complex of the Cham was built to worship the god Shiva. My Son was recognized as a world cultural heritage site in 1999 by UNESCO.

Visit to My Son Cham site near Hoi An - Our guide Mt Thien was really fabulous. He is the best guide we have had since coming to Vietnam. He is full of knowledge and insight into the Cham history and culture and full of fun as well. Definitely exceeded our expectations. His excellent English certainly sets him apart.. Great for local culture and history - Tai was a great tour guide for us at My Son Sanctuary and I learned so much about this region and the Cham people. We went in the afternoon and it wasn’t crowded at all but a little muddy from the rain earlier.
We stayed in Danang and he also arranged transportation for us to My Son so it was very convenient. All in all, I would recommend him and his tour!

Great afternoon at My Son! - We had a fantastic day touring My Son! Incredible ruins and Tai was very energetic and knowledgeable - he took us through the history of the region and explained the temples in depth. Great time!

A must see inn Vietnam! - Very nice tour, just what we wanted. Pick up at the hotel, transportation with a local directly to My Son without stopping for breakfast or any kind of shop. Walking tour around the world heritage site with a very kind and knowledgeable guide. Tai quickly responded to all our messages and answered all our questions.
Although it was the rainy season in central Vietnam and it poured down, it was absolutely worth visiting this place. As recommended by Tai, you should go as early as possible to avoid the crowds. He always tried to lead us to a quiet corner to explain what we see.
Overall this was a great experience and we highly recommend this tour.

An absolute must do My Son tour - An absolute must do tour when visiting Vietnam 🇻🇳 Tai is an absolute well of information about the MySon, the local area, history of his country and an all round nice bloke. He was happy to answer questions on a range of topics and provided local tips.
The My My is set amongst beautiful mountains and has a fascinating history set over thousands of years. We were the first to arrive, which meant photos of the temples without other tourists everywhere. Also arriving early we escaped the heat.
Our driver was very polite and drove safety.
The fantastic tour in Vietnam.

Wonderful trip - This tour lasted in 5 hours from hoi an city. The ruin contains some secret of building methods and the guide explained a lot of champa king dom and cham culture. Love it

The best My Son tour in Hoi An - This trip to The My Son Sanctuary with Mr. Tai is highly recommended. The early start allows you to beat the heat and have the entire sore to yourself. There was only one other group there. Tai's knowledge of the site and history was excellent, and he also knew where to get the best photos. The breakfast stop at a local family's home was a lovely touch that added to the overall experience.
