Great day out exploring Hoi An - We had a fantastic day out exploring Hoi An with Vy. We were picked up from the hotel in the morning and driven to My Son Sanctuary In a very comfortable car. All the time Vy was chatting away giving us background to the area being travelled. Vy’s English is fantastic and her knowledge of the history is great. Upon arrival at the sanctuary Vy gave us a personal tour together with the historical background to the area and the ruins. This was followed by lunch back in town and then we collected the bicycles from the hotel and went cycling through the countryside to the coconut boats on the river, A clay village, rode a buffalo and then went onto a family farm to enjoy a hands-on introduction to farming by an enthusiastic old lady farmer. Vy is energetic and entertaining and makes a fantastic tour guide, which enriched our stay in Hoi An.
