ITINERARY:

At 12:00 p.m, our experienced guide and driver will collect you from your hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An City. The first destination on our journey is the UNESCO World Heritage site, My Son Sanctuary. Once the capital of the Champa Kingdom (from 4th to 13th century), My Son is an extensive location of religious artifacts, housing over 70 architectural structures. These range from temples to towers, intricately linked via complex red brick designs.

Your knowledgeable guide will offer detailed insights into the history of each temple. Following this, we proceed to Hoi An city (UNESCO listed). Here, you can explore the antiquated old town, stopping at points of interest such as Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, Tan Ky Ancient commercial house, Japanese covered bridge, Cultural and historical museum, and the local market. Then, a 20-minute Sampan boat cruise on a small river gives you the chance to connect with Hoi An’s nocturnal life. After this, we will enjoy a meal and visit the Night Market. We will then conclude our tour and return you to your hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An city.

Amazing Hoi An - We had an incredible time exploring My Son Holy land, Hoi An ancient city tour with night market Sampan boat ride, all thanks to Mr.Ty. This was our second time having him as our guide, and he made our trip truly memorable. We appreciate his informative guidance, and his decision to arrange a halal food lunch at Baba’s Kitchen Indian Restaurant in Hoi An was the perfect choice. We are truly grateful to him for everything.

What a wonderful way to see My Son and Hoi An! - What a wonderful way to see My Son and Hoi An! The tour itself was easy to book through Andy, who coordinated our trip. (We were picked up at and returned to our resort.) Our tour guide Mr. Le had impeccable English (he was a former English teacher), and he had a lot of wonderful history to teach us about My Son, including its Khmer and Indian influences. Mr. Le was also patient with our pace, given our children's various ages of 15, 12 and 9. Our youngest was having problems with her ankle. Hoi An has been on my bucket list for a long time, and it was even better than expected. Though touristy, the shops, snacks and street life were vibrant. It got very busy and wall-to-wall crowded with people in the evening! The river views great. Our driver (whose name escapes me), was wonderful weaving us in and out of traffic to whisk us back home.

Best Tour Ever! - Our tour guide was amazing and insightful, she even catered to stop by a famous banh mi near Hoi An during our trip. She gave us tips at the night market for the best food stalls and things to buy there. Driver was very friendly and engaging as well. Also, for our next leg of the journey to Hanoi, she gave us a few Must-Try food in Hanoi.
