- Victoria Street Market - here we get to explore the Zulu side of things , where we walk through an African market and get a better understanding of the average person’s daily routine and where they get their supply of food
- The Spice Emporium, Durban - here we get to visit a place with an assortment of spices and get to learn about how to mix to make the perfect blend that is used in the cuisine we will be tasting.
- The Workshop Shopping Centre - this is where we will try some street food , street drumming is also available as an optional activity for those wishing to really engage and be one with the Zulu tribe.

Durban is the 3rd biggest city in South Africa with a good mix of the Zulu tribe as well as having the biggest population of Indians outside of India.
With this mixture of people comes a great cultural infusion from Zulu traditional meals to Indian curry meals and an infusion of both influences like the very famous chakalaka salad which can be used as exhibit A of how well these 2 cultures complement each other.
On this tour we get to taste a bunny chow, move around the city in the very famous Durban mini buses to get the full local experience, we visit the market and finish up with some street food and a drumming experience which is optional for people who want to immerse themselves in the Zulu culture.
