Dune bashing in Dubai - Sarath, tour advisor at Swissotel Al-Ghurair Deira, advised on and arranged the tour. He is an outstanding guy who is always willing to help. Gave us various options and recommendations re tours and other activities. Also advised us on how to best utilise Dubai's transportation system. Muhammed was our tour guide. Another exceptionally friendly and helpful person. He fetched us from the hotel, and was out dune bashing driver. Performed some excellent driving on the dunes to our great enjoyment. Red Dune Safari, Buggy Desert Ride, Camel Ride, sand boarding and a great BBQ dinner experience at a desert camp. - Amazing unique experience! Definitley a must do for anyone wanting to do something incredible in Dubai. The guide was very profesional and friendly, the views were breathtaking and the freedom of driving on the desert dunes is unmatched by anything else. Don't hesitate more, this is something you don't want to miss.

Dune Buggy’s and Dune Bashing! - We went on this desert safari tour and were really happy we did. Sijin was our driver and he was a kind, helpful, and genuine person that made the experience great. First we stopped to ride our side by side through the dunes and loved it. I’m talking driving at 80-90 km/h up, down, and sideways throwing sand in the air and loving every second of it. After that, we went dune bashing where Sijin showed off his skills and showed us a great time. My wife got a little sick and he pulled over and gave us a break without question. Once we reached the top of a high dune, we did some sandboarding and took some photos while the sun was setting. Once this wrapped up, we went to the camp site, had some dinner, chat, watched entertainment and met some new people. The entire experience started at 4 PM and ended at 10 PM. Was a great time and I highly recommend it.

A must do in Dubai! - Since we booked a private tour, we got the car all to ourselves. Car was very new and clean, stocked with plenty bottles of water, complete with roll bars ready for the dune bashing. Fathima, our driver and guide, was punctual and very accommodating - we asked to get dropped off at the mall on the way back instead of the hotel. The camp we went to for dinner was a very modern take on Beduin camps. It was in Tour Dubai and Terra Solis - a premium camp (the fact that it had wifi in the desert). A must do in Dubai!

Excellent experience with Jay the “ Louis Hamilton of the desert” - We were picked up from our hotel by Javid (Jay) and driven approx. 75 km out of Dubai city to the desert. Jay was polite and very friendly plus informative of any questions asked of him . We arrived at the desert to start our sand dune 4x4 experience which was fantastic, Jay is an excellent driver. The only issue was you are dropped off at a kind of hyper market while deflating the tyres and my family were subjected to having traditional head dress placed upon our heads and were immediately asked for 350AED to which we refused. After the desert safari we drove to take photos of the sunset and then on to a quad bike park again chargeable if you wanted to take part and yet again locals peddling rubbish , photos with hawks , camel rides etc. Be very careful if doing the quad bikes , they are just flying in every direction with no instructions before hand , ambulances were there when we arrived due to a collision. after this we drove to the premium camp where you get free camel rides plus soft drinks, a barbecue and entertainment also free henna tattoos for the kids. After all of this Jay dropped us back at the palm about 10ish from leaving the hotel at 4ish all in all a great experience and great guide. Approx cost with ice cream etc for the full experience for 2 adults and 2 teens 1000 AED
