- Zhangzizhong Street - Your start your tour at Zhangzizhong Road in the Dongsi Subdistrict of Beijing
- Beijing Hutong culture tour - Convene with your guide and group at a designated meeting point in the Zhangzizhong subway station Line 5 exit D.
Begin the tour with a nearly 50-year-old famous traditional Beijing snacks restaurant , you will taste over 15 kinds of old Beijing foods with local soda, tea or yogurt.
Continue to a family-run local Beijingers recommended restaurant to sample Beijing Wraps accompanied by soybean milk.
Following several food stops such as vegetarian restaurant, Mongolian hot pot, BBQ, dim sum, lamb spine and rib hot pot, before satisfying your sweet tooth with cheese cake from a local bakery.
Throughout the tour, local beer, local tea, local drinks are unlimited provide, taste Chinese liquor (Baijiu). You will peek into hutong alleys, wander and see this city’s oldest life with a food market explore.
You’ll end your tour armed with recommendations for the rest of your trip and a happy and full stomach at Beixinqiao subway station.

Great experience - Justin was an awesome host taking me to a wide assortment of delicious local favorites. His knowledge of regional cuisine was excellent and enhanced the experience. I had a wonderful time and ate way too much!

Excellent food tour of the food of Beijing - I took my second food tour with Justin Wan yesterday and it was fantastic, plus I made a few new friends, my tour mates. The tour was great and we were able to try many Beijing foods in the hutongs of Beijing. Justin was personable and welcoming and really knowledgable about the local food and eateries. We tried a variety of foods from filled buns to soups and noodles to even coriander fried chicken, local mandarins and Beijing yogurt drink. This is definately a tour you should be taking of Beijing. I highly reccommend it.

Hutong guided Tour / Dinner at Hutong - Catherine is great, uncomplicated.
gave us a nice tour through a hutong. We had a excellence dinner at a family´s place. Very delicious, nice service and a great unforgettable evening.
Cathrine made all happen what we wanted - great job. See you the next time in November 2024 - will book it again!!!!

great personalized trip for foodies - We did have an amazing time with our guide Sonnia, who showed us the hidden gems of local cuisine. The highlight was the donkey burger, delicious. The sweets were amazing as well. Thank you again to Sonnia and Catherine who took care of us for the whole trip and were of great help in arranging all to our preference and expectations...

Solo private food tour Oct 2023 - I contacted Catherine last minute for a food tour in Beijing. She was quick to respond and incredibly helpful. She organized a private food tour for me hosted by Peter. Peter was fantastic, great conversation throughout the tour and clearly very knowledgeable about the food, the restaurants and the city in general. I really enjoyed it and I can not recommend Catherine and Peter enough. They organize other tours (tourist sights, museum's etc.) and I when I return to Beijing I will be contacting them again.

Tons of Food - This was a great tour. My guide Nico was very friendly and helpful. He showed me around a neighborhood in Beijing, and let me try everything I wanted to try. It was a ton of food. He also took pictures and sent them to me, answered any questions I had, and helped me with directions to return to the airport.

Tour worth more than what you paid for! - Justin was amazing! You have a really good food tour around the Beijing's local food spot that you would likely miss and some interesting details about the food. But that is not all, Justin goes above and beyond as he introduces to you china in an authentic way (very interesting) as well as help you with your further visit in Beijing. He is not only a tour guide or someone that can help you with your adventure in china but he is also a friend. So with this tour and Justin, you will get more than what you have paid for!

Great guide and great experience! - We really enjoy with Nico, he took us for a nice walking, trying interesting dishes and feeling the local atmosphere. We enjoyed every place and the entire experience! He is so kind and knows great places to try different flavors!
