5 January 2024 Tour of the Long Tan Battle area, Nui Dat and Vung Tau Beach areas - Our guide Alex was extremely well informed about all aspects of the battle at Long Tan and details of the memorial. I appreciated that he arranged for us to light joss sticks and place flowers at the memorial to honour those who fought and lost their lives. Alex supporting photos and battle maps added significantly to the experience particularly when we toured Nui Dat base and Vung Tau Beach. I would highly recommend this tour irrespective of whether you had /have a relative who participated in the ANZAC forces who were based at Nui Dat during the Vietnam War. And if you are fortunate enough to have Alex as your guide it will be a real bonus. Paul McFadzien

Fantastic - Picked up from accommodation from the always smiling Jimmy. A very informative, knowledgeable and funny bloke. Extremely enjoyable day. Very respectful visit to the Long Tan memorial and short walk through the tunnel. Lunch was authentic and tasted great. So much I couldn't finish. The trip to the Robert Taylor Arms Museum was absolutely immaculate. Even got to meet the man himself. I could've spent days there. A huge Thankyou to Jimmy and the crew for a smashing day. Highly recommend.

Great day out to Vung Tau Long Tan-Nui Dat - Jimmy looked after us today. We were picked up on time in very comfortable new car with great driver. Trip to Long Tan - Nui Dat takes 2 hours and when you get there - there is a cross as a memorial but understandably we didn’t expect a large memorial as Australians were fighting the Vietnamese. We went to lunch and had delicious noodle soup. I am not a museum fan but the war museum at Vung Tau was fantastic. So much money put into by English benefactor. Uniforms from all soldiers from all battles around the world on life sized mannequins as well as varied weapons galore- a must see! I would recommend this tour if you only get to Vietnam once - don’t miss out on a good day out to see the countryside and lovely cities on the way.
