- Bali Pass Trek - The Bali Pass trek offers an untouched path and a rigorous ascent over the pass. Throughout the journey, we are encircled by the imposing Swargarohini or Bandarpunch mountain ranges. Views of Kalanag (Black Peak) and Swargarohini Peak are prominent, with Kalanag standing as the tallest peak in the vicinity at 6,387 meters. A day is spent by the serene Ruinsara Lake. The passage through the meadows of Devsu Thatch and Thanga is nothing short of spectacular. The route to Bali Pass diverges south towards Yamunotri just beyond Ruinsara Lake, while the path heading east continues to the formidable Dhumdhar Kandi. This challenging pass shares its base camp with Black Peak and leads to Harsil. Unlike typical passes that resemble a gap between adjacent elevations, Bali Pass ascends like a summit, offering an exhilarating peak-like experience at its apex, as depicted in the summit stretch image of Bali Pass. Nearing the conclusion of the trek, we witness the Bandarpunch Glacier & Saptrishi Kund. Additionally, there’s a chance to visit the sacred Yamunotri temple. In essence, the Bali Pass trek is a comprehensive adventure that delivers every aspect of a classic Himalayan trek.
