Alright - train leaving Hanoi at 10 p.m. to arrive in Lao Cai around 6 a.m. (followed by a short hour by car to reach Sa pa) The guide explains to us that this train is a TGV (high vibration train...). It's true that things are moving but it's anecdotal. We had reserved a compartment just for the two of us. good berth / warm duvet / individual reading light Half an hour before arriving in Lao Cai, we woke up so that we could drink the coffee or tea that we had ordered the night before (paid but insignificant price). In the end, we slept pretty well and it was a good time in our trip
