Nature’s Discovery Manatee Tours - Hop aboard our small passenger vessel for an intimate snorkel with the Florida Manatee! We take you through scenic King’s Bay in Crystal River, Florida in search of the wild Florida Manatee.
We specialize in family oriented small group and private manatee snorkeling tours. Upon arrival, you will be introduced to your in-water tour guide who will lead you to your boat and take photos every step of the way!
During the boat ride out, our in-water guide and captain educate guests on the proper way to snorkel with the protected wildlife and ensure a fun and safe experience for all ages! Once we find a manatee somewhere in our 600-acre Bay, we exit the boat and snorkel with the manatee. Our guide leads guests to the manatees and takes in-water photos throughout the entire tour. Afterwards these photos are available for purchase to ensure that you keep the memories of a lifetime!

If your group is smaller, there’s an option for hiring the entire boat for an even more private journey!

Outstanding trip! - Our family had an amazing time and we were very glad we booked with Nature's Discovery! The small group size made for a far more intimate experience with the manantees, and Hina was an very gracious and knowledgeable guide.

Amazing Tour - We had an amazing tour!!! The staff with Nature's Discovery were super friendly and Puahina was very informative regarding the Manatee 's and the surrounding areas. We would for sure do another tour with them and highly recommend. 😀

Best Tour on Crystal River - What an AMAZING experience! I took my 10 year old son & family on Memorial Day weekend. The captain & tour guide GRACE were exceptional & gave my son and family an experience of a lifetime! I highly recommend them!

Great experience! - Hina was our guide and she was amazing. So knowledgeable about the area. I’m not a strong swimmer so she helped me get to each area while taking photos for us. Jake was our captain and he was also very entertaining and had a wealth of knowledge about manatees and the habitat.

Awesome experience - Fantastic experience with the wild manatees. We had Grace as our guide and Dylan as our boat driver. Both very knowledgeable and helped us find friendly manatees and be respectful of their space and needs.
Small boat with shade and three hours was a perfect amount of time.
Only problem was with trip advisor itself which allowed us to book a time which was already full. The company contacted us to offer another time which we confirmed would be fine. They advised for future bookings to contact them directly to ensure availability.

Great snorkeling tour - We had a great snorkeling tour. Dylan and Grace led us to some manatees under difficult conditions (high tide - correspondingly rough water). We were even able to observe a mother and calf up close. Grace took good underwater pictures. All photos (around 100) could be purchased afterwards for around €45 (link to the cloud). Fair price!
Skipper Dylan explained a lot and was very nice to our three children.
So a clear recommendation!
Be sure to bring your own towels!
