- Plitvice Lakes National Park - Plitvice Lakes are one of Europe’s most spectacular natural wonders and pleasure to visit at any time of year. This wonderful natural phenomenon consists of 16 interconnected lakes - all situated at a different level - and over 90 waterfalls of different size. The colour of the water is changing from emerald green to aqua blue and itâs so clear that you can easily see through, almost better than in any aquarium. Just like with any other wonders of nature, you have to visit and make your own impression.
Entrance ticket to Plitvice Lakes is NOT included in the price of the tour. We will purchase the entrance ticket for you in advance , you will pay for it directly to our driver on departure day according to the pricelist of National park.
- Rastoke - On the way to Plitvice Lakes, relax your body and mind in Rastoke - picturesque watermill village near the town of Slunj. Due to some records, village was built in 17th century and is situated where river SlunjÄica and Korana meet. Rest with a cup of coffee and enjoy multitude of waterfalls, rapids, small lakes and cascades before you take a hike at stunning Plitvice Lakes.

On this journey, you’re granted 5 hours to explore the National Park independently. Our aim is to let you experience the National Park at your preferred speed. Instead of trailing behind a guide and matching the group’s tempo, our expedition offers you the liberty to decide what sights you want to visit and the distance you wish to traverse. Should you enjoy walking and intend to visit both Upper and Lower lakes, splendid! You’ll be taking route C. Your speed might be a bit more brisk, but you will have viewed the entire park. If a leisurely pace suits you better, with sufficient time for pauses, route B will be your path. This route represents the highlights of the Plitvice Lakes, passing the Great waterfall and throwing in electric boat and train rides. Plitvice Lakes tickets are not factored into our service’s cost, but we have reserved a spot for you. Be certain to carry the exact cash amount for tickets on the tour day. The cost of tickets varies based on the season and the visitor’s age.
- If you would like to see most popular spots in National Park, you will have to walk for approximately 5 hours
- Depending on the weather conditions some parts of the park may be restricted
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- Please take: good walking shoes, and sportswear. For summer: sunprotection, water. Offseason: In case of rain raincoat or an umbrella and bring also a warm sweater or jacket.

Amazing day - Views were amazing, and our tour guide / Driver (Hrvoje) managed to take us to 2 extra places as we had extra time spare and was very knowledgeable.
Would definitely recommend this tour with this Driver aswell.

Day trip Plivice lakes and Rastoke - We organised our trip with Wanderer Travel, Dina in reception was so welcoming and knowledgeable.
The information she provided made our trip special,
Dina also gave free advise on things to do while we were there. Our driver Dom was also excellent and helpful.
I highly recommend Wanderer Travel for a superb service.

A full day of natural beauty and peace! - This was the highlight of the holiday my husband and I spent in Croatia. Both places are so peaceful enjoying nature in its fulness. It was a long great day well spent. The lady working with Wanderer Travel, Ms Dina was really helpful. She guided us well and she gave us the right information. She arranged to us the pick up so close to our lodging. The driver guide, Mr Hrvoje was exceptional. He is really a gentleman. His knowledge is vast and not only that, he showed us what others do not see. If we had to go on our own, we would not know and experience half of what we learnt thanks to Ms Dina and Mr Hrvoje. Well done and thank you.

MUST GO - The kindness of the staff is like the Plitvice lake itself, very friendly, welcoming and warm. The staff took us to the origin of the lakes which was not even included in the tour and gives us the most spectacular view ever. Not to mention the sophistication of the staff can sufficiently supply any your curious questions from the lake's formation to history of local towns.

Hrvoje, the guide was amazing. The tour fantastic. We would happily do it again. - The tour was easy enough to book online, with the option of paying on the day. I’ve received the drivers info the day before and he was even able to pick us up from our place of stay (and to drop us off). The trip there and back was very pleasant, with some good tips from the guide/driver. They were also the ones who reserved our tickets for the actual Plitvice park. Hrvoje (our guide/driver) had some great advice on where to go and what to do in the park, and has given us clear instructions to be able to follow through. He was very knowledgeable about more than just the lakes and was happy to share that knowledge with us. Hrvoje really went above and beyond to show us as much as he possibly could. We would recommend the tour and Hrvoje to anyone.

Breathtaking Plitvice - We were staying in Zagreb for a few days and decided on the Plitvice Lakes trip. It was one of the best ever day trips in Europe that we have experienced. Our driver, Hrvoje, was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We were a small group of 3, with a total age of 225 years, and he was only too willing to adjust and tweak the schedule to suit our needs. Nothing was too much trouble. The Plitvice Lakes and Waterfalls, plus the stop en route at Rastoke, were magical and it all made for a perfect day that we shall never forget.

Plivitce lakes and Rastoke - The ladies in the agency were extremely helpful and friendly and gave good advise.
The trip itself was well worth doing, we had a comfortable mini bus with a lovely driver called Darko to whom nothing was too much trouble.
The lakes and waterfalls were amazingly beautiful and there were a number of different trails. We would highly recommend it

Delightful day trip to Plitvice Lakes - The main attraction of our choice of Zagreb was the Plitvice Lakes. Our tour company was represented by Andrea. She went all out to help and guide us and is a very helpful and kind person. Darko our driver was so easy to approach and though not a tour guide gave us clear guidance about the Route around the lakes.
Great experience will surely recommend to family and friends. Thanks Wanderer Travel👌👌👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The best driver! - My girlfriend & I booked the trip to Plitvice lakes and were pleasantly surprised when a smaller minibus came to pick us up, instead a big coach!
The driver, Darko, was fantastic and held good conversation and had even better music! His instructions was very clear and allowed time to stop in a small village and to get cash out, which we had forgotten to do!
The lakes were incredible and although we hadn't booked with a guide, some of our group had and the guide, Didi, was happy to help us out too in terms of timescale and best places to visit!
All in all it was a very good day but made better by the care and punctuality of the staff we had the pleasure to meet!
Thanks again to Darko, the driver! Good man!
