Slice of Heaven... - The Crew: Hugo, Fabian, Alberto, Henry, & Stefan! - Fantastic and made the trip even better! We made the trip from PDC, and shortly after we arrived on Cozumel we were greeted by Hugo et al. We were checked in and provided some brief instructions for next steps, as well as asked if we had any dietary restrictions (GF, Vegetarian, etc.) for the lunch. Soon after we were headed to be loaded onto the boat, but first we were kitted up with optional Rashguard Shirts for sun protection, and life jackets. Sun screen (even Reef Safe) is not allowed, this helps protect the marine life you are going to see! Prior to take off, Hugo gave a quick summary of the tour itinerary and where we would be visiting on the tour as well as fielded any general questions. After about 10 minutes of boating we arrived at the first snorkel location - Columbia Reef. Snorkel gear (masks, snorkel) were given out and some instructions provided to ensure it fit properly, and to ensure folks were comfortable before we got into the water. We saw a barracuda, many types of fish, a lobster, and a ray. We snorkelled for around 20 - 25 minutes, and then got back into the boat and moved onto a secondary location on the Columbia section of the Reef. We snorkelled an additional 15 - 20 minutes at this location before loading back into the boat to head off to our next stop - El Cielo. El Cielo (Heaven) was epic! absolutely crystal clear water filled with Starfish, and other tropical aquatic life. We saw Starfish, Rays, and Angel Fish to name a few. We spent around 20 minutes at El Cielo before loading back onto the boat. We were then served lunch, and cold drinks to boot! Once Lunch was served we slowly headed to the final stop of the day El Cielito (The Sky) to hang out on the sandbar, and scope out many of the rays that were swimming around. would recommend taking this tour! 10/10 Things of note: Pack a hat as there is little sun protection out on the water, wear the rashguard shirt that's provided (or bring your own), drink plenty of water. Feedback to the team: Better communication for what the lunch will be, and if there are preferences/allergies what those options include. The lunch provided was really good, and the modifications were made easily but more communication would be good.
