Great excursion, worth the cost - Tour was worth the expense, the only challenge was finding the meeting point (just make sure to ask when you leave the cruise port). Our tour guide (Moses) was very friendly and proud of his island. The monkeys and sloths were great to be around, although it was a bit touristy. Chocolate "factory" was small and crowded, but we did get to sample and buy some good chocolate. It was a good day on the island for sure.

Wonderful! - We had a West-Caribbean cruise two weeks ago and this Roatan excursion was one of the highlights of the whole vacation. The competitor was Dolphin ride in Cozumel, which was twice the cost. What we liked especially (actually we liked everything): 1. Flexible schedule and effective use of time. No need to wait for buses and big groups. It was only our family (4 people) in the car and our fantastic(!) guide Tommy was ready to start as soon as we had landed. So we could start the excursion more than an hour before the scheduled time. We got maximum from our time on Roatan. In addition to the main stops, Tommy showed us other places and told us so much about Roatan. We got more than was promised to us and more than we expected. 2. As expected, all the wonderful creatures - sloths, iguanas, monkeys, parrots impressed us. It's not just a zoo, but you can really be in contact with the animals and they seem to like it too. We were lucky to see a wild sloth just nearby also. Seeing some big fish, including a wild barracuda was another bonus. The local staff does the work with passion, it's more than just business for them. 3. Snorkeling was even better than in Belize (and Belize was also great). Special thanks to Jack Sparrow from my 80 year old dad, who to his own surprise was able to do his first snorkeling - the whole swim. Jack was really skillful in encouraging and coaching the beginners. 4. It was fun all the time! My son still repeats Tommy's jokes. Thanks again, Tommy!

Great experience! - Got just what we wanted on this tour--mingling with and holding sloths, monkeys, and macaws. Fun experience. Visited rum "factory"--meh. Could have done without it (and I'm a drinker). Chocolate factory was "ok". Right across from water, had some ice cream on a warm day. Our tour was supposed to last 4 hours. Lasted 2 1/2. Not their fault. Driver offered to take us other places, but majority of our 7 person group wanted to go back to beach near our ship. A little walk up a hill outside of Port complex to get to meeting point (no big deal), but at end they drop you off right near beach across from ship. All in all, a great, inexpensive venture around this beautiful Hinduras island.

Fantastic island tour - Fantastic tour of the island. Our driver, Licor, was very kind and helpful. He drove us all over to each part of our tour. He answered all our questions. The sloth hangout was definitely my favorite part. We also got to meet monkeys and birds. We then went to a chocolate factory and had an educational explanation of how chocolate is made, with all the samples we wanted to The rum factory had rum cakes and rum to sample. We were allowed to take our rum purchases back on ship, but had to leave it with the ship till de-embarkation day.

Great time in Roatan Honduras! - Our driver Terry was great! He made sure we all got to see and do that we wanted. He was also very friendly and funny! The animal park was an amazing experience interacting with monkeys, parrots and sloths. The rum and chocolate factories were okay. Would have like a few more scenic stops for pictures, but all in all would recommend this tour and do it again!

Not for grown ups - Most suited for children. Nothing cultural on this tour. Nothing more to say. Need to redesign this option.

A LOT of people - I loved seeing the sloths & monkeys but I feel we were rushed. Several other people saw other animal that I didn’t even know were there because we were not told & rushed.

Horrible excursion - Sitting in the back of a very small SUV. Legs didn’t fit and head hit the ceiling. Couldn’t see anything out the small window! Couldn’t hear what the driver was saying, even after nicely asking him to speak loudly. No photo stops included!!!
