More a pilgrimage than a tour! - Was in town for the Springsteen show, but as a huge U2 fan I was definitely doing this….. I’m also a studio owner of my own (not quite on this scale though!) so the chance to see where so many of my favourite songs were made was so exciting. We also got lucky - our tour guide Aidan is one of the owners, and such a lovely person too. You absolutely don’t need to be a recording expert to enjoy this - in fact the tour is deliberately pitched at folks who love music but they assume you come with little knowledge of how recording and mixing works. And I got a chance to play with the mixing desk in studio three, and stand in the cavernous studio one. Simply wonderful!

Happy friendly tour guide - I would recommend this to anybody regarding your knowledge of recording or sound engineering. The tour guide marie was relaxed and friendly with a great knowledge of the working and history of the studio. It was about 60 minutes but it flew past with different parts of studio and some video clips. Thanks again.

A Glimpse into Music Past, Present and Future: Windmill Lane Recording Studio Tour - As a music lover and avid traveler, visiting the legendary Windmill Lane recording studio in Dublin was a dream come true. This unassuming building tucked away on Ringsend Road has been the birthplace of countless classic albums by artists like U2, The Rolling Stones, Kate Bush, The Corrs, Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran and many more. We even got the opportunity to mix a song ourselves using the same world-class equipment and techniques employed by the pros. Let me tell you, it's harder than it looks! I gained a whole new appreciation for the talent and painstaking work that goes into making the music we love. Whether you're a die-hard music buff or simply curious about the industry, the Windmill Lane tour offers an illuminating peek behind the curtain. It's a must-do experience for any music fan visiting Dublin. I left inspired, educated, and in awe of the incredible musical legacy created within these walls. Don't miss this gem hiding in plain sight!

Great experience in this famous recording studio, on US's steps - As U2 fans it was impossible for us to not stop by the Windmill Lane recording studio during our 3 days in Dublin. The experience was great overall. The tiny group of visit make it cosy, confortable for anyone to interact. Thought the tour we were explain basic knowledge about recording music, about who came to record here, why this studio is that well known and appreciated in the music world, visited a small studio and tried the board, also visited the biggest studio with impressive material, etc ... Thanks to our guide for her welcome and explanations during this one hour visit !

An excellent tour through the studio where a lot of famous recordings were made - An excellent tour through the studio where a lot of famous recordings were made. Cool demo. It's worth spending an hour there. I was slightly disappointed by the introductory part showing recording process with a small midi-keyboard: it shows very basics of recording process that could be made at home - this is not what I expected from a big studio, and I suppose that it doesn't fit well to the target audience: it is too basic for people having even minor recording knowledge, while zero-knowledge people will not take this tour at all. So, I expected a bit more technical details specific for a big studio, or more insides about recordings made there. Nevertheless, it was an excellent experience. Thanks to the people, who made this tour possible.
