- Agua Clara Locks - After pick up with a confortable car from your accommodation in downtown of Panama City, we will have an entertaining discussion about the history of The Panama Canal on the way to the city of Colon, 1 hour from Panama City at the atlantic side of Panama, to visit the new expansion of The Panama Canal where we would see massive ships going through the locks and learn about how these amazing structures work.
- Atlantic Bridge - After visiting the Panama Canal Visitors Center have a sightseeing tour over the amazing third bridge over the Panama Canal.

Fort San Lorenzo - After passing over the Atlantic Bridge, we will drive through the San Lorenzo National Park, a natural rainforest reserve where we will have the chance to spot animals from the road (monkeys, birds, coaties and more) in our way to the Castel San Lorenzo del Chagres, a massive fortress originally completed in 1601 that was once the chief Atlantic port on the isthmus of Panama built on top of a high reef, in a position that dominated the entrance of the Chagres River. Beside the historical richness, its impressive structures have been recovered becoming the perfect scenery for best pictures and videos.
Finally enjoy the trip back to Panama City including a 30-minutes stop on the road so you can buy snacks and rest.

Opportunity to Appreciate How this Works - The guide explains the details of how the ship is being handled while in the lock. Information is provided about the ship, its contents and design. In between we learn about the mechanisms involved and other facts about the canal. The nature trail was closed.
