Hidden gem - Rob led us on a walk down to a stunning bay near Cabo de Espichel. Without his knowledge of the area we would never have stumbled across it by accident. Knowing that he has extensive experience was helpful as we clambered down a fairly steep cliff towards our end goal. He knew the paths well and being only moderately fit, I was pleasingly challenged by the walk, but not overwhelmed. The hike was worth it. We spent several hours enjoying the secluded bay, swimming and snorkelling. A thoroughly recommended experience and one I’m keen to repeat.

Arrabida walk - Rob took me and my family out for a walk in Arrabida just outside Lisbon. We had a fantastic time made extra special by Rob's knowledge of the area. I would strongly recommend others to book a walk with Rob as we have done a few similar walks but this was by far the best and most informative.

Stunning! - Rob, our guide, took us on this scenic hike in Arrabida. I was blown away with how beautiful the area is - turquoise clear sea and white sandy beaches combined with lush trees and mountains. Rob was an exceptional guide, funny and friendly and he knew the area so well and was so keen to share his knowledge with us. He took us to a hidden cave and explained the history behind it's shrine and also a hidden beach. I would highly recommend a walk with Rob as his passion and wisdom for hiking around Lisbon is so evident when you talk to him and truly fascinating. The weather was also so warm for January so it was just a perfect day all in all!

AMAZING hiking experience! - I've done a few hikes with Rob in Arrabida and every time I'm amazed at what we run into! The last hike we did was absolutely sensational! I had no idea that we'd be going to places not many people had gone before. We did some cool scrambles up the mountain and then down towards a cave or two. The icing on the cake was the very last cave just around sunset with a view of the ocean. He had planned it perfectly and told us some history of the cave. It's not just the scenery and the beauty that he takes you through on his paths but it's his personality that makes the trip. He's very laid back and will keep you smiling the whole day with his quirky jokes and lovely stories. He's a genuine person and I'm really glad I had the opportunity to hike with him (and the rest of the group). I highly recommend him to anyone who visits the area. He's extremely knowledgeable and an all around fantastic outdoor guide!

The best walking guide in the Lisbon area - If you're looking for a guide for a walk in the Sintra or Setubal area then I can highly recommend Rob. He is passionate and knowledgable about hiking and the geology of the area, and was incredibly adaptable, being able to tailor the walks to the weather and conditions. There really are some amazingly beautiful beaches and walks to discover, many of which are barely marked and can be almost impossible to find without someone of Rob's knowledge and experience. The walks I've done with Rob have introduced me to little known parts of the Lisbon area which very few people even know exist, and with Rob's thorough knowledge I really felt that I learned all about these places, as well as having a really great morning (followed by a superb lunch)

excellent hike- so much nature : ) - I enjoyed a wonderful hike with Rob, to a beautiful beach, showing me some of the highest cliffs in Europe. No buildings, just nature! He also showed us around some caves and gave a lot of details about the rocks, history and environment. My favourite part was swimming and snorkelling in the crystal clear waters and spotting lots of fish: ) I highly recommend

Beautiful hikes in Arrábida - I’ve been on several hikes with Sintra treks and they’ve all been amazing. We’ve been to some stunningly wild places with just the right amount of challenge. Our guide, Rob, has lots of interesting facts about the local history and geology and also knows where to find the really good local food!

Local knowledge - An informative guide taking me to places I would never have found on my own. Definitely worth it if you like walking and I got an insight into the terrain and history which I was not expecting. Very knowledgable guide who despite the laid back manner was keen to make sure I had an adventure.
