Loved this trip! There was a problem... -
Loved this trip! There was a problem with the van we were originally scheduled on, but they quickly got us with another group and we were picked up only 5 minutes late. The tour was fantastic and the tour guide was so nice and very goood about speaking in both Spanish and English. He was knowledgeable about all of the sites, and the provided lunch was the best authentic Mexican food we had while on our trip. Highly recommended!

Organized fun, long day - This tour was very well organized. We were given just enough time at each location to learn and take pictures. The Cenote at this tour was AWESOME! Very secluded (only our bus was there) and I had enough time to change in the dressing room, swim for 30 minutes and dry off. It’s very refreshing after being in the humidity for the first 2 stops. Some notes: 1. bring extra money for the “diamond package” whether or not it is real, I don’t care because it paid for our bikes at coba, our drinks, and our life jackets. It was $16 per person extra on the bus. 2. The Mayan birth certificates look nice. We regretted not getting one after we saw them ($20 each) 3. The Mayan drink from the student on the bus is good, you could find it while shopping in Playa Del Carmen but there is something about your picture on it and the bus hustle that doesn’t make me mad about paying too much for it ($20 per bottle). 4. If you’re staying in the newer northern part of Cancun you are going to be up EARLY and the last one to be dropped off. We were picked up at 5:40AM and dropped off at 8:30PM. Transportation was included but not being warned of this is what dropped a star for us. It’s tiring.

The trip was great. Tulum and Coba... -
The trip was great. Tulum and Coba were beautiful and we had plenty of time to explore. We were also able to swim in a cenote near Coba which was amazing. The guide, Jesus, was very friendly and knowledgable and gave a wonderful tour of the area. The only knocks I have on this are that the food was not very good and that the tour was MUCH longer than advertised it said 7 hours, it took over 11 and it caused us to miss our dinner reservations. Beside these small things, I would highly recommend it

Was switched to a different tour... -
Was switched to a different tour groupAmazing Adventures from original tourKbron travels. This added extra stops that we were not aware of. Original tour was suppose to return at 3pm
id not get back to Hotel until 7pm. Our van did not have a tour guide and I think we were at a disadvantage from the other 2 vans that did. We met our tour gulde at Tulum. No guide at Coba. Lunch was second rate compared to Chicken Itza.

Lack of English instruction very disappointing - This was meant to be a bilingual tour but that was a joke. Everything was spoken in Spanish. I had to constantly remind the tour guide to translate into English. When the Spanish guide took 5 minutes to give information, when I finally got an English translation, it was 3 sentences. I felt really ripped off. I came away with little understanding of the Maya people or the significance of the sites we visited. Very disappointed.

An otherwise well-organised tour completely ruined due to inefficient tour guide - First of all let me clarify very clearly that the Terrible rating is given only to the horrible tour guide named Tabitha Maya Otherwise the tour was well organised by tour operator. They picked me on time, arranged a nice lunch at the Cenote and after a long hectic day, dropped me at the hotel on schedule. But the tour guide Tabitha was extremely rude, racist, ill tempered and lacked any knowledge of history of Tulum. Not only that, from start to end her only objective was to fleece money from the tourists. Even though the tour was booked with an English speaking guide and her English knowledge seemed decent (when it came to ask for tips and gratuities), she refused to explain anything in English fully knowing that I don't understand or speak Spanish at all. Then she didn't inform us that Tulum archaeological site doesn't allow plastic bottles or water and let me purchase the $95 ice cream just before entering the gate fully knowing I will be stopped. And when I did get stopped at the gate, she left me alone stating it's not her problem and I not only had to throw away both ice cream and water, but also had to sprint about half a km in the extremely hot weather just to catch up with the group. Also my booking said a 18 USD Tax amount pending to be paid but right after boarding the bus, she tried to cheat me asking for 34USD. When I questioned the amount, she backed out. We all paid for a guided tour in Tulum but she neither hired any local guide, nor entered the site herself. We were left at the mercy of a local guide of another group, though thankfully it turned out well. But after we returned from the Tulum site, fully knowing that I had to throw away the drinking water only because of her misinformation, she refused to offer me a bottle of water stating I need to pay additional 150 pesos!!! A bottle of water throughout Mexico costs maximum 15-30 pesos, so it was a broad daylight cheating. Then when I requested them to stop at a supermarket to buy water, she refused that as well. Thanks to my co-tourists I got some water. She also tried to cheat the whole group repeatedly scaring us about mosquitoes and asking 150 pesos for a small bottle of mosquito repellent. She never accompanied us in any of the spots even though she had an assistant named Joe. Frustratingly she was shameless enough to ask for tip at the end of the trip. There were other tourists in the group who had equally bad experience with this guide from a different tour. I am surprised why the operator is not issuing ant reprimand to her.

This tour was very disorganized. We... -
This tour was very disorganized. We paid for a small group tour, but when we got to Tulum, we were combined with other vans for a group larger than a tour bus. We were handed off from guide to guide, the tickets weren't ready when it was time to enter, end result we got 45 minutes inside Tulum and only because we ditched the group. We had a group of 7 who were always late returning and yet nothing was said to them. We had a flat tire on the way back not their fault, of course which took 90 minutes to get repaired no spare!. Instead of taking us back to our hotels, the group that was always late wanted to go into Playa del Carmen and were late again! Got back to our hotel after all the restaurants were closed and had another excursion leaving at 7 AM the next day. We saw what we wanted to see, but we could have just taken a taxi and done the same trip better ourselves. Would not go to the end of the block with these people.
