Highlights
- Northern Row Brewery & Distillery - We talk about the history of this building including the Carnegie Steel beams that were used in the construction.
- 1818 Race St - Next we will walk to access the former Linch Brewery Tunnels that were built in 1850. These are not open to the public and only accessible on our tour.
- Findlay Market - We will briefly walk through Findlay Market during the tour. We will talk about the history of this oldest market in the state of Ohio. Its founder James Findlay and the unique construction of the market itself.
- Rhinegeist Brewery - Next we walk to the Rhinegeist Brewery, we do not go into this brewery but we talk about the history of the building and the role it played in the beer industry in the 1800’s in Cincinnati.
- 204 W McMicken Ave - Then we walk to the closed Jackson brewery to access the tunnels under the building. We talk about the amazing architecture and history of this building.
- Northern Row Brewery & Distillery - Then we return to Northern Row Brewery for a beer tasting for our guests that are 21 and over. Under 21 guests can have a soft drink of their choice.

Join us at American Legacy Tours for our latest tour, Hidden Caverns. This extraordinary journey will take you beneath the surface to the Linck brewery tunnels. We will then head to the location where Johnny Cash once filmed a movie. After this, we will make our way to the site of a significant Cincinnati incline. We will get an exclusive look inside the last remaining structures from the original Christian Moerlein Brewery complex, which has been off-limits to the public for many years. As an exclusive feature of the Hidden Caverns Tour, guests aged 21 and over will have the opportunity for a beer tasting at Northern Row Taproom 111 W McMicken Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45202. Regardless of the weather, our tours will proceed as planned!

Harrison was Terrific!! - We took the Hidden Caverns Tour with Harrison on June 7th, with 7 of our family members... Harrison was terrific and so informative. He had the perfect blend of interesting history and fun banter. He didn't rush anyone and made sure we were all safe and comfortable in the underground beer tunnels. I would highly recommend Harrison for future tours.

Fun exploring the underground - Miranda made this tour worth it. Lots of laughs and fun facts about the area. Had no idea about all the brewing history around Cincinnati. So worth the time.

Interesting Tour About Brewing in Cincinnati - Our tour guide, Harrison, was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and told all the stories in the way that held your attention. Visiting the tunnels underground was really cool.

Excellent experience - Our guide Harrison was great. He know so much history of the area. I lived here for 3 years and never heard all that history. He made everyone feel comfortable and entertained. We will definitely recommend this tour. The beer tasting part was not exactly what I expected but it was still a great experience.

Great time, amazing tour guide - Just finished the tour with Miranda as our guide. She was amazing and made the tour so much fun! I was born and raised in Cincinnati and learned so much about our city. I will definitely being taking another one of their tours, I just hope I get Miranda as a guide.

Take this tour!!! - Excellent tour, a lot of very interesting history of the early brewery era in Cincinnati. Caverns and the lost history of them is so cool. If you are lucky enough to get Miranda as a tour guide it will make the experience that much better. Highly recommend!!!!!
