As you traverse the tour, expect to encounter a variety of jungle fauna including butterflies, avian species, melipona bees, and with a bit of fortune, you might spot some wild monkeys swinging through the canopy!

After picking you up, we will be traveling to the beautiful Muyil Ruins. We will spend approximately 1 1/2 hours at the Muyil Ruins learning about the fascinating Mayan history. This tour is approximately 3 hours long including travel time. Our tour guides are federally licensed and have many years of experience touring in this area. All of our tours are private tours, so you will be the only guests on your tour. While on your tour, feel free to ask as many questions as you like, we do not rush our tours.

Amazing experience highly recommended - These guys were top notch we booked the monkey tour as well as the float down the mural ruins. Highly recommend they were so friendly and knowledgeable.

Amazing Muyil Ruins - We were so fortunate to tour Muyil Ruins with Eli. The grounds of the ruins are neat & clean & truly beautiful. It’s a nice walk thru an open part of the jungle. I call it a beautiful nature trail with the blue butterflies, the melipona bees & the monkeys. What a treat! And I can’t say enough about Eli’s knowledge of the ruins & the ancient Mayan people. He can really bring the ruins to life. He will take time to answer any questions and go off trail a little looking for monkeys.
We have toured with Eli on past tours. He never fails to make the tours interesting. He really loves the history.
Can’t wait for my next trip to tour with Eli!

Highly Recommended!! - This tour was great! Learning the history of the Muyil Ruins was very interesting and I felt like it was an overlooked gem because there were not many people there. Other ruins like the Tulum Ruins are very crowded, but for most of our tour we were alone walking through the jungle, very cool! The ruins area is very beautiful and they have nice walking paths made for walking through the ruins in the jungle. We even saw wild spider monkeys in the trees, blue butterflies, and melipona bees flying in and out of their nest in a tree!! This is definitely a must do activity if you’re in the Tulum area!
