Visit some of the best boutique wineries of North Canterbury on an all inclusive wine tour with Giles Tours. This tour includes visiting 3 boutique wineries for tutored tastings and a delicious lunch. Departing Christchurch at 10.30am, you’ll taste a quality selection of wines in the up-and-coming Waipara wine region, including stops at Pegasus Bay, Torlesse Winery and Greystone wines. Learn from your knowledgeable guide about Waipara’s unique micro-climate as you taste a range of world class red and white wines. We only need a minimum of 2 people to run the tour but this is a shared tour and you should be prepared to share your tour with others (Maximum of 6 per tour). Great Tour of Waipara Valley - Giles was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Wineries he chose were great. Appreciated that his tour has a maximum of six people. Would highly recommend.

More than a normal wine tasting tour - Giles was an excellent guide with such an enthusiasm for sharing his extreme knowledge of wine with us. We learned a lot and it was much more than a normal wine tasting tour. The wines offered at the 3 wineries were very good and the lunch offering was more than ample. Would highly recommend Giles!!

Great day out - We had a great day out. Wineries visited were Waipara Springs, Torlesse and Georges Road, and all were very good. The platter provided for lunch at Torlesse was outstanding. Our guide Giles had an amazing understanding of all aspects of the wine industry, from the technical aspects of growing grapes and making wine, through to the commercial side of the wine business. We learnt a lot! Highly recommended tour.

Wonderful Waipara, Wonderful Wine - Blessed with the weather, stunning scenery and only an hour or so out of Christchurch. The wineries visited were diverse in size, produced a variety of wines and made us feel very welcome. The tastings were generous and information on each was extensive. An individual platter was served to each guest for lunch and the food was superb. We would have liked more time at each venue but guess we will just have to rebook and do another tour with Giles.

Perfect Christchurch wine tour! - We had a really great tour with Giles! He put together a personalized tour of 3 wineries in the area, had extensive knowledge of the wines and the region, and great relationships with each of the wineries we visited. Learned a ton and had a lot of fun. Would highly recommend booking with Giles for a superb experience!

Enjoyable trip in the company of a very entertaining guide from Christchurch - Very interesting trip. Enjoyed the company of other like-minded people who enjoyed a little adventure and at the same time had a bit fun tasting several wines from different vineyards
