Amazing day! - I booked this tour for my father and I, and it was absolutely seamless. Our guide Eduardo was beyond fantastic, and our driver Marlon left us feeling totally at ease, even on the somewhat crazy roads. The day was smooth, they were both very accommodating and the knowledge they both had was so great. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone I knew who was coming to Guatemala or who was considering this tour. Thank you!

Glimpse into Mayan culture - Our driver Osman (second tour with him) is the best, very friendly and informative. Our guide for the market and the ruins Eduardo is very knowledgeable, speaks English and German, and made the day a lot of fun.

A perfect day. - Chichicastenango is a fascinating, bustling town steeped in rich Mayan history and culture that have stayed alive over the centuries despite Spanish colonization. The market is chaotic and beautiful simultaneously. The hand-woven textiles are absolutely incredible. The colorful cemetery is so unique and tells an intricate story. The tour, guide and driver overall were great. The pyramids are simpler than others, and not as old, but interesting to see and a nice reason to break up the drive.

Lee, Laurel, Moises & Marlo great day! - The beauty of the indigenous people, land and culture. The spirit of the Mayans and Guatemalans is impressive, warm and friendly. Our tour guide Moises and the driver Marlo were absolutely incredible. Moises is a Mayan descendent and spoke incredible English and Spanish. His deep knowledge of the history of Guatemala and the various tribes of indigenous people was superb and very educational. Marlo is the perfect example of a gentleman. Kind, courteous and informative. We could not have hand selected a better pair of guides. Thank you Moises & Marlo for a fabulous day!

A good day trip to the Mayan market and ruins. Worth it if staying longer than 3 to 4 days in Guatemala - This trip is only available on Thursdays or Sundays as those are the only days that the market is open. The trip was well planned and the market is a good visit especially for the 400 year old churches at either end. We also visited the colorful cemetery where each grave is painted a different color. The English speaking guide was very knowledgeable and very helpful. The breakfast at the hotel right outside the market was amazing and one of the best parts of this trip! The Iximche pyramids are a good place to visit if you don't mind visiting a second Mayan site after Tikal. Tikal is unmissable but this one can be skipped if hard pressed for time.

AMAZING tour with Moises!! - Moises was an excellent guide for this trip! He really made sure the day was personalized to my friend and I. We were picked up in time and stopped for breakfast at a great local restaurant on the way. At Chichi, Moises gave us a tour of the church, different areas of the market, and a nearby cemetery. He have plenty of detail on everything that was happening and local customs/beliefs. We had time to shop by ourselves and met up with Moises and our driver to head to Iximche. Moises was very thoughtful and made sure we had opportunity to eat and use a restroom. At Iximche Moises talked about the history, explained the different structures, and took great photos for us! On the return to Antigua we asked for his restaurant recommendation and he dropped us off at a wonderful steak house near the main square of Antigua. I highly recommend this tour and MOISES!

great day trip - Our group of 8 had a great day traveling to this open air market, exploring the local church and seeing some Mayan exorcism ceremonies. The experience was eye and ear filling. Then, we traveled to the ruins where the silence and the beauty of nature made a pleasant contrast to the morning's exuberance
