Embark on the Lake Michigan Sunset Cruise, leaving from close to the DuSable (Michigan Avenue) Bridge on board Wendella’s top-tier tour boats. The journey will take you from the Chicago River, through the Chicago Lock, and out into Lake Michigan. Witness the sun gently go down over the city from the peaceful waters of Lake Michigan on this calm and intimate cruise.

Arrive at 400 N Michigan Avenue 30 minutes before your departure and you will be directed to your boarding dock. Please allow yourself plenty of time to arrive if driving. We do not have parking. It is recommend that you book parking in advance.

Beautiful boat, great staff - This tour was amazing! 10/10 I highly recommend. Worth every penny. I will definitely take this tour again when I return to Chicago. It’s just the right length, goes up and down the coast line a few times. The spoked cider was the perfect touch.

Great experience - The boat is nice and big! Lots of space to sit and stand. The had a wonderful tour guide that was funny and knowledgeable. The sites are beautiful! No denying the city is just amazing. I enjoyed it a lot! My 14 y/o did get bored eventually, but overall liked it as well. Bring a jacket. It’s cold with lots of wind on the water!

Sunset Views - Great boat ride. Staff were very friendly with drinks to purchase on board. The boat was well looked after and the views were fantastic. Particular shout out to the guide, was full of energy and knowledge.

Great tour! - Due to the weather, it became an architectural tour on the river. At first I was disappointed, but it turned out better than I imagined. The tour guide was hilarious and full of great info about the buildings and Chicago itself. I would highly recommend this experience!

Nice cruise but depends on weather - The views were beautiful, and the commentary was fun and interesting. However, the weather wasn’t good—chilly and very windy—so be sure to check the forecast when booking. The best weather for this tour is when it's warm with clear skies.

Amazing views - Watching the sunset view on the skyline and then it got dark, the city was so beautiful. However, the driver of the boat crashed into something TWICE. Outside of that it was pretty cool. It was cold out in April, so bring warm stuff. They have an indoor part too where you can sit as well, so that was nice.
