Van accident - A motorbike jumped in front of our van and we hit him, swerved and crashed into trees in a ditch. It wasn’t the drivers fault but very scary expensive, the local Thai ppl were very nice and helped us out of van and make sure ok, majority of everyone was fine just bruises and cuts. The guide, motorbiker had more serious and lady in back had broken wrist. This was on the way to the white Temple, so we spent majority of morning and afternoon at side of road and hospital. I wanted to continue on with tour because I was completely fine just bruises and really sore, they were nice and ended up getting me a taxi driver to take me to each temple and I walked around on my own, then took me to chiang rai airport to wait for another van from tour company that was on way back from diff tour to stop and pick me up to take back to chiang mai. I did all that in under 2 1/2 hrs. I was grateful they were able to do that bc I left the city next day and wanted to see what I could. But I’m sad no one from company has reached out to me to ask how I’m doing, offer a refund, etc.
