- Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi) - In the morning you will be picked up by your guide and drive roughly 0.5 hour to Chengdu Panda Breeding Center, where you can see the giant pandas and red pandas. The giant panda is more active in the early morning and in the late afternoon. While you take a pleasant walk in this peaceful bamboo park, you will be totally enjoyed by panda’s funny way of eating and playing. Due to the successful artificial-semination, you will see the adorable panda cub in the nursery every year in summer. Chengdu Private Tour with Panda Base, Leshan Giant Buddha and Lunch - I went to Chengdu for a day and this type of excursion was a perfect for me. The driver name was Mr. Van and he was very professional and polite. My tour guide Jason was very knowledgeable and respectful, he helped me during my trip, he knew the best spots to take pictures AND observe the pandas. Jason took me to best restaurant in Leshan where he ordered a local cuisine. I really enjoyed my tour!
