- Mutianyu Great Wall - Your English speaking tour guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby or airport (optional) at appointed time. Then you’d head for Mutianyu Great Wall directly in a private car. It takes about 1.5-2 hours to get there.
Round trip shuttle bus and cable car are necessary in this trip (to save much of your time walking and climbing), which is included in the price. Your tour guide will be with you all the time. You don’t need to worry about where to go.
After you get off from our car, there is a 5 minutes’ shuttle bus drive to get to the entrance. After that, you’ll get on the Great Wall in 5 or 6 minutes by the cable car. Then you can walk along the Great Wall as much as you can, enjoying the views and taking pictures. You’ll have 2 or 3 hours staying on the Great Wall.
You’ll get down from the Great Wall by cable car again and then a 5 minutes’ shuttle bus drive again to come back to our private car.
A Chinese lunch will be arranged in a local restaurant in the town after the trip.

In comparison to other sections, the Mutianyu Great Wall is relatively untouched - its commercial footprint is less noticeable, visitor numbers are fewer, and it has been subject to less renovation. From the top of the wall, get a sweeping view of the surrounding countryside, resplendent with fruit and chestnut orchards and carefully curated old pine trees.
