The Trail adventures are off-road, the duration is approximately 4-6 hours, with a peak elevation of 4000+ ft above sea level. 4x4 is the only way to access these breathtaking locations, as the trails are steep and challenging year-round. This is for the truly adventurous; those who seek challenges and crave excitement.

Starting from Boar’s Head Resort, embark on an adventure into the George Washington National Forest to tackle the Bald Mountain Jeep Trail.
This off-road trail adventure lasts about 4-6 hours and reaches a peak elevation of over 4000 feet above sea level. Access to these stunning locations requires a 4x4 vehicle, as the trails are steep and challenging throughout the year. This experience is designed for the truly adventurous, those who seek challenges and crave excitement.
The Jeep is equipped with a refrigerator, camp kitchen, Skottle, awning, camp chairs, and even a toilet. Everything you need for an enjoyable day in the George Washington National Forest is provided. Just bring your lunch and beverages, and we’ll stop to eat along the way.
