Highlights
  • Castries - After being picked up by your driver and experienced tour guide in a luxury class automobile, you’ll be eased into the day with the first stop at a picturesque view point overlooking our Capital, Castries. At this point you’ll get a brief historical overview of the island and the day’s tour ahead. Then get to see actual barracks built by British soldiers in the 1800’s. Why were they here? Get this and many more questions you may have along the way answered. Drive through one of the island’s largest banana plantations and if you wish, sample some freshly picked fruit yourself. Then drive through two of the island’s smallest fishing villages, experience its vibrancy, color and more views along the way.
  • Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens - Finally we arrive at our destination Soufriere where we first travel to The Diamond Botanical Gardens & Waterfall.
  • Sulphur Springs - Then choose to have a guided tour of the Drive-in Volcano at the Sulphur Springs Park or simply enjoy soaking in the mud baths. Afterwards, enjoy lunch at one of the finest restaurants in the town where you can sample the local cuisine.
  • Tet Paul Nature Trail - From there, our next point of interest is the Nature Trail at the Tet Paul Scenic Trail where you catch breathtaking views of our Majestic Pitons.

Wrap up your tour with a dip at one of the Waterfalls, swim at one of the beaches or a drink on the water’s edge at Marigot Bay.

An experience exceeding expectations - This tour was well beyond any expectations myself, or my friend, could have set. Our tour guide Duri, or "Brett," was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the island. He was a great driver, which is crucial when the roads are as winding and there are so many hills because if you do not have a good driver you could actually get sick. He never once made us feel rushed at any of the attractions we visited, and also offered to take pics whenever we wanted. We had such a great experience with this company, and our driver, that we actually booked with them again and had Brett be our guide for another day, which was also just as great as the first. We highly recommend this company, and Brett, for all your island driving needs. You will not be disappointed.

Best experience of St Lucia - Our driver Shen was very polite and professional. Due to Independence Day activities happening on the island, he was able to manage the time , traffic and got us back to the cruise ship on time. We completed the excursion not feeling rushed and couldnt expect a better visit & experience of St Lucia.

Memorable Day - What a fantastic day. Our guide, Brett was fabulous. He worked so hard, making our day very memorable. We had such fun at the mud baths and Brett took lots of photos of us as a family. The nature trail was worth the climb with fantastic views of the Pitons. Thank you Brett.

Fantastic tour - Fantastic tour . Picked it up at port .Mini van was comfy and good a/c .Driver was Nigel , knowledgeable and polite . Stops at many view points for photos ( pitons , bays etc) . At these stops cold drinks and souvenir stands available. Volcano experience was great - basically “ drive in” so anyone could manage this , thermal baths also available there. Stopped at a waterfall ( small entrance fee) where you could have a dip if you wanted. Tour takes about 4-5 hours from port and back to port depending on traffic in Castries on return. Would def recommend

Island Tour with Mark from Rising Sun Taxi Service - Best Day of the Holiday! - Did this island tour with Mark from Rising Sun Taxi Services and had a fabulous day. Comfy air conditioned transport with complimentary refreshments and lunch, even some home made rum punch made by Mark’s wife which was AMAZING! Mark shared all his knowledge and history about St Lucia which was fascinating and we got to see so much more that a group tour would have allowed! Visited the volcano, mud and mineral baths and the waterfall which were all fabulous and Mark got us so many great photos! No rush, unlike other tour operators, Mark ensured we had the best time possible! A real gem of a guy and I can’t recommend his services enough!

Clint is a legend! - Being the type of family that leave everything until the last minute, this was certainly no different. Having left Antigua on our cruise ship we decided we better look for someone to show us around St Lucia and in particular take us to the thermal mud baths / volcano at Soufriere and to see the Piton’s. We made contact with the guys at A1 at probably gone midnight, yet received a response to my WhatsApp message, confirmed they could take us and negotiated what we though was a really reasonable fee for doing so. Come the next morning as we disembarked Clint was waiting for us. He was a young guy but that didn’t stop him having a fantastic knowledge of his amazing island, he took us on the hour and a half journey (maybe more) to the volcano, stopping at a couple of amazing lookout / vantage points for photos. I must say too, he was amazing with the kids who were 8 & 4, despite not having any of his own. My 4 year old daughter took a real shine to him and it was reciprocated, at a number of different stops we’d look around and find she’d conned him into carrying her around! He was also extremely understanding when our 8 year old boy became little unwell and needed to stop on the journey. The volcano / thermal mud baths were amazing and I’d recommend them to anyone, Clint got heavily involved and joined in with us, showing us what to do and where to go. The plan was that he was going to find us a beach on the way back where we could stop for an hour but we had to shelve that due to our son being poorly. We did however get a stop at the most amazing waterfall a short drive from the volcano, which was worth the fee all on its own. We couldn’t thank Clint enough, he is a top top bloke and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to friends and family alike. If we were ever back in St Lucia, it goes without saying that we’d be requesting his services. Thanks Clint!!
