Book now! - I HIGHLY recommend Atlas Desert Tours. Wow, what a trip! INCREDIBLY memorable. It was a pilgrimage of sorts. My father in law who grew up in Fes, had not been back to Morocco in 71 years. In the planning stages, Said, was very accommodating and kind ( he was planning for 8 of us) and Ali, Moha and Jamal ( in Fes) effortlessly wove things that we wanted to do and see into the schedule all the while imparting their knowledge and wisdom. Taking us to wonderful places and introducing us to wonderful people. They went out of their way, with great kindness and patience to make it a VERY special trip. After 8 days and 1400 kilometers it felt like they had become part of the family. Please book with Atlas Desert Tours! You will not regret it!

Great Adventure - We were very excited to see all that Morocco has to offer. The mosques are beautiful and the natural sites are even better. Our favorite part of the trip is the Sahara desert. We were able to go into the desert, drink some tea with nomads, ride an ATV on the sand dunes and ride the camels. The scenery is peaceful and out of this world. Each Riad and Dar on the itinerary was wonderful and everyone involved was welcoming. We were driven in an air conditioned van for the duration of our trip and our driver, Mustafa, was the best. He was friendly, calm and very knowledgeable and welcoming. He always had water on hand for us and if we ever wanted/needed anything he always went out of his way to get it for us. There were also a few issues with other vendors not having camels ready or issues with our ATV but Mustafa handled all of that for us. He was solution oriented. The guided tours were very nice and the guides were knowledgeable and spoke English well. Be forewarned some vendors are VERY pushy and can often pressure you into purchasing items and/or they can be rude (at no fault of Atlas Tours)

A trip to remember - When searching for a well rounded tour of Morocco, Atlas Desert Tours seemed to hit all the right points. My fiancé and I opted the 11-Day Luxury tour at the end of February and had the best tour. Each day was filled with something remarkable to see. This tour includes a lot of driving so you will experience the wide variety of climates. So much so, that you will feel like you are in a different countries every other day. We also enjoyed all the different activities from exploring ancient Roman ruins to visiting nomad families in the desert and everything in between. Our driver, Aziz, was wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable, kind, and had a sense of humor. This made the long drives between cities much more entertaining. Aziz also helped us with our large amount of luggage to and from each hotel. Some hotels are inside the Medina where cars couldn’t get to so Aziz made this process seamless. He always had water waiting for us in his very clean car and made sure to make plenty bathroom stops along the way. All the guides we had made sure we had a great time while teaching us about the beautiful history of Morocco. Make sure to tip! I had a few requests when it came to accommodation that was outside of Atlas Desert Tour’s suggested list of hotels and they hit all the marks. Outside of my requests, the riads we stayed at were immaculately decorated and included delicious breakfasts. The only qualm I had was it took over a month to receive any itinerary with accommodation set in stone. This made me nervous as I had sent an initial deposit of $500 with an additional $25 paypal fee. To be fair, I booked this at the beginning of December, during high seaso, but Said answered all my emails with grace, assuring me that they were working diligently to pull it all together. I just wanted to add this to my review in case any future travelers experience the same. Be patient, this tour is worth it, and then some! Insider tips: Restaurant Bab Ssour in Chefchaouen was the cheapest, best dinner we had in Morocco. Make sure to make reservations when it comes to restaurants in Marrakech because they book up fast. Let your driver know if you’d like to stop to pick up a bottle of wine/alcohol as some towns are dry.

Experience of a Life Time!!! - This was an experience of a lifetime!! I always heard of the hospitality of the Moroccan People but to experience it firsthand, you see it’s not just talk. Me and my wife were greeted by our personal guide Muhammad. Our flight was delayed so we weren’t able to visit our first tours. He instead we reschedule it for our final day in Morocco. Mohammed stated that we are meeting as stranger but will become family by the end of our trip to our new second home! I can honestly say he told no lies ! He showed us places and people that showed nothing but love and warmth. We visited small city’s where no other tours visited but made sure we were safe and understood everything. Even times when venders up charged us, Muhammad made sure we were treated not like tourist but as countrymen!! Along our trip we met Mubarak and Salim in Marrakesh and Fes. Like Muhammad their level of hospitality was like no other. The knowledge that both brothers had was impressive to say the least . Even among the busy markets of the Medina, we felt safe and comfortable. The camel ride in the Sahara desert was the experience of a lifetime! At each stop, it was like Muhammad had dropped us off to another family members home the food and people were top notch. With this tour I can say you will truly experience Morocco in its TRUE FORM. The ancient markets, the Beyond Beautiful Atlas Mountains, but most of all the wonderful Berber people. The History food and cultural you’ll experience on this tour is Pricless. I recommend this to anyone interested in visiting Morocco !! The Atlas Desert Tour is the way. Request Muhammad!! 🇲🇦. I will personally be bringing my Family back 💯🤲🏾. Last Note be ready to drink a lot of Tea ☕️ also they will accommodate the amount of days you plan on stay. So if your not in Morocco for 11days they will work around you stay. I recommend the 11 days tho ✌🏾

Exceptional Tour, Lifetime Experience - Atlas Desert Tours provided us with a well-organized and very attentive private tour experience that gave us a lifetime of cherished memories. The hotels and restaurants they suggested and arranged in consultation with us were top-notch. The local guides, who actually live and work in their own cities were informative, professional, and personable. Our visits to many local crafts cooperatives highlighted the authentic quality and dedication of Moroccan artistry. We were especially impressed with our private tour guide, Idris, who combined a warm and friendly personal touch with a high degree of expertise and professionalism. We were also impressed by our driver, Hassan, who drove us across the country so skillfully and with composure for our nine-day Imperial Cities & Desert tour. They were exceptionally helpful when one of us fell ill for a few days. Overall, this private tour was one of the best trips of our lives. We strongly recommend Atlas Desert Tours, which is a genuinely local and family-run business, as your tour provider for Morocco. Ben and Seungsook, Mid-Hudson Valley, NY State

Great trip! Excellent guide, stops, riads/hotels! - Our tour lived up to the others’ glowing reviews. Prompt, friendly, accommodating guide. Excellent English. The city tours were wonderful. The desert “glamping” and camel ride was a highlight. The stops during the travel days cross country were very interesting. We felt like we got to know the country. Would highly recommend to others.

Fantastic Trip ! - We had an incredible time visiting Morocco in December. Atlas Tour planned the trip exceptionally well, demonstrating great flexibility and accommodation. Our tour guide, Aziz, was highly knowledgeable, addressing all our questions and providing insightful information about Moroccan culture and history. His fantastic sense of humor was particularly helpful during the long drives. During one of our stops, I accidentally left my phone at a gas station and noticed it was missing about 30 minutes later. Without hesitation, Aziz volunteered to drive back to retrieve my phone. Although we eventually had to go to the police station and file a report, the responsiveness and responsibility of the police officers were impressive. Aziz went above and beyond by even offering to take my phone for repair, a gesture that we truly appreciated. His excellent driving skills made us all feel very safe throughout the journey. My favorite part of the trip was visiting the Sahara and spending a night in the tents. Aziz also helped us modify our itinerary for the last night, allowing us to welcome the New Year in Marrakech instead of driving to Casa Blanca airport hotel. In summary, Morocco is a breathtakingly beautiful country with warm and polite people. It would have been even better if the tour could include driving through a new city in Marrakech and/or Fez, providing us with a glimpse of Morocco's current living style.
