I was complete surprised with Morocco as a country and my overall view on everything we did was completely shaped by Khalid, our amazing guide. Everything was curated, local, informative, fun and unique. Atlas Trekking really went out of their way to make our family trip as memorable as possible. Trip of a Lifetime with Atlas Trekking! - The trip of a lifetime! Our group of 9 set upon a 10 day journey in the beautiful country of Morocco. Our incredible guide, Khalid, took great care of us every step of the way and Atlas Trekking is responsible for the wonderful memories we will take home with us. Khalid helped us plan a customized 10 day tour from late April to mid May 2024. We traveled to Rabat, Fes, Arfoud, Sahara Desert, Ouarzazate, and Marrakech. Khalid answered all of our questions in prompt fashion and catered to our, sometimes demanding, requests to ensure our dream vacation was met. We were provided with a detailed itinerary well in advance of the trip. Once we arrived to Morocco every single detail was carefully and professionally planned out to ensure the only thing we had to worry about was enjoying our time experiencing this wonderful country. Our transportation was comfortable and always on time. The hotels and riad’s were simply magnificent. Our rooms were ready when we arrived and bags were taken immediately to our doors, we didn’t have to lift a finger. The meals were delicious and our tables were ready the moment we walked in the door. Our days were jammed packed with unique experiences and exciting excursions that we will remember forever. I cannot say enough about the care and attention to detail that Kahlid and Atlas Trekking provided. They made the trip what it was. Fantastic Morocco Highlights 15 Days Tour - So this is the first time I ever took a organized trip with a guide and a driver to anywhere. We took a trip to Morocco with my cousin and my other cousin and my ex-wife and my two boys and my other cousins son and his wife and one of my son’s girlfriend and it was the most amazing trip I ever could imagine. The guide Was amazing. His name is Khalid. He knows the country inside out. Then I found out that he actually got trained to be a guide. He took a course for one year and was certified by the Moroccan government, plus He had experience. We went to places that I would never imagined existed and the experience was amazing. I highly, highly, highly recommend Khalid and his company Atlas Trekking Morocco to be used for this Moroccan experience. I can go on forever, but I won’t bore you with the details. 10 day tour - Wonderful private 10 day travel adventure for 9 cousins all around Morocco! Khalid was the best guide ever! So efficient, organized and informative. He became a part of our family! We did not have to think about anything. All top notch reservations. So much to learn about beautiful Morocco. The highlight of our tour was the 2 nights in the Sahara, camel ride and all.

Twelve Days in the Atlas Mountains--Private Trip December 2023 - Atlas-Trekking-Morocco  Private Trip I booked the trip via email with Khalid; questions were quickly answered and details attended to.  I spent 12 days in the Atlas Mountains camping and staying in guest houses. Hamza, the guide, was sure-footed and experienced with a winning personality.  The cook, mustapha, was superb and the muleteers were excellent. Some of the best food I had in Morocco was on the trail. The trip began and ended in Marrakech which seemed to be the Las Vegas of Morocco. The first part of the trip was a climb of M'Goun Massif in an area six hours from Marrakech, an important detail as this cuts way down on the number of visitors. During five days I saw three other visitors on the trail and none on the climb to the peak. We then drove south to the Toubkal area which is only a 1.5 hour drive from Marrakech and thus within range of day-trippers and the attendant increase in people.  Nevertheless, we hiked for a full day back into the valley and spent three days exploring the area with superb hikes and views largely on our own. Some days are long and arduous with six to eight hours of hiking and some serious ups and downs.   The climb down from M'Goun included 1/4 mile stretches of 50-60 degree downslopes sliding in scree.  The campsites are likely to be well used and there are no latrines--you go find your place and do what you have to do--a bit unsettling given the number of hikers. Mustapha boiled water for my drinking supply and I did not experience any sickness during the trip--they are very good about handwashing, hygiene, etc. The tent they supplied had zippers which did not work and the sleeping pad was ill-suited, as well.  Bring the best sleeping pad you can find. The weather was stunning--no rain and very comfortable daytime temperatures, though it did get chilly at night.  And, oh, the stars. We wound up changing the itinerary on the fly and they were quite flexible in that regard.  The driver who met us before and after each segment was professional, conservative and safe. Hamza asked for feedback during and after the trip.  I did not receive any follow-up email or text from Khalid. No trip is ever perfect but this one was within shouting distance.

6 awesome days at High Atlas and Sahara Desert - Just do it and take Hamza as Guide with you - We got in contact via mail quite spontaneously with Khalid and asked for a 6 days combined tour of the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara desert at Merzouga. Unfortunately, there was no group so we decided to do it on our own with Atlas Trekking Morocco. Hamza was our guide and he is really great. We spend the whole 6 days with him and he really made an incredible experience out of our trip. He refitted the tour for us a bit when we told him that we would like to hike more and he also helped us in figuring out our further travel plans from Merzouga to Fès. Also Mostafa (#1) from a village of Imlil was a great cook and a great guy and Mostafa (#2) our driver for the last 3 days to the desert was great. An excellent driver and he helped us also a lot with the further transportation and spoke with the other driver who took us to Féz. So thank you very much for all the support and the great time we had. If you go with Atlas Trekking, we highly recommend Hamza as tour guide. He is really a sunshine and a great guide who really wants the best for his guests and also answers all your questions and helps you with whatever you might need. Also he is a great musician - just to let you all know :). Thank you very much, Hamza!!

5 day trek through the Atlas mountains - We did a five day trek through the Atlas mountains with our guide Hamza and chef Yassine. Hamza guided us over beautiful mountains and small villages, he learned us a lot about local culture. Yassine makes the best meals we had in Morocco. I would absolutely recommend making a trek with Hamza and Yassine! We can't wait to come back.

Hikes with smiles - Ayoub, our great tour guide, was patient and informative during our 3 day hike in the Atlas Mountains. Everything was prepared for us in advance and there was plenty of interaction with the locals with smiles and greetings as we hiked up the mountains. An authentic experience in Moroccan culture. We would recommend asking for Ayoub as your guide.

6 day Atlas and Sahara tour - Our 6 day tour in Atlas mountain and Sahara desert was an unforgettable experience that I would totally recommend for every entusiast traveller. We had the opportunity to wander around many Berber villages while trying their local products and cuisine. The agency had organized everything including transportation, food and accomodation. The program was quite flexible and modifications could happen when possible. Our personal tour guide Nouredinne, taught us a lot about tradition, culture, music and every day life of the berber people. Overall, the agency offers a value for money package with an exciting itinery that gives the opportunity to combine both mountain and desert while crossing the amazing moroccan landscape.
