Pleasant guided tour to learn about the history of Carthage - Visiting family in Tunisia, we contacted "Le Lemon Tour" to enjoy a guided bicycle tour of the archaeological points of interest in Carthage. We did this visit as a group and we had Gigi as our guide. In addition, another person from the agency accompanied us at all times to do the work of cutting off traffic and enabling us to do the route without fear of traffic, as well as monitor the bicycles and repair/change them if necessary. The visit can be done with a touring bike, mountain bike, or with electric assistance. Gigi made it very easy for us to understand the places we visited, telling us a lot of details and information about them. As for negative points, we can indicate that Gigi loves what she tells the group so much that she went over the established time for the guided tour. For me it was not a problem, but be careful if you have appointments or reservations after the tour. Thanks for your work. We really liked the guided tour.

Great guide - Guide was great and knew a lot, which is really helpful since some of the sites don't have a lot of information at them. Most of the route is pretty flat and easy to bike, but there is one steep section, so consider the e-bike option if you're not used to biking on hills.

Excellent guided tour with Gigi! - We had a great guided tour with Gigi. He showed us the highlights available on the Ancient Carthage day pass ticket. We had read about ancient Carthage before our visit and he answered questions that we had about the sites and the history. Most of the sites are extremely ruined, and not very well signed, so it was very helpful to have Gigi describe how the sites would have looked in their prime. He had some artistic renderings to paint a clearer picture. I particularly appreciated his interpretation of Tophet, as there were no signs there at all. I recommend the bike tour if possible, as you get to visit the ruin of the Roman forum and ancient Carthaginian houses on top of the hill.

Peddling history - Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Pace, length and amount of cycling was just right. I wouldn't say the sites themselves are the most amazing archaeological sites you can see around the Mediterranean, but an amazing insight into what Carthage must have been like. Only slight negative is the bikes could have done with a wash and a bit of air in the tyres 😊

Memorable and beautiful - It was great to cycle around Carthage sites. It makes a lot of sense to do it by bike, the sites are a bit far to do by foot and it's more fun than driving. The cycling is not difficult. We used mountain bikes; city bike are also fine as long as you have different speeds. We've learnt a lot during the tour. Our guide was great, very passionate, knowledgeable and fun. It was definitely one of the top highlight of our trip to Tunis. I highly recommend! The guide spoke in French and he also speaks Italian. Tours can be done in English too. All the staff was extra friendly and helpful.

Great walking tour of Carthage - Really great tour by Gibran from Lemon Tours. Extremely informative and learnt so much about the history of Carthage . Please check the temperature before going as it can get very hot. However, I didn't mind it as Gibran made the tour interesting and went the extra mile.

Easy paced relaxed tour - Easy paced ride to the sites, even the hill to the top wasn’t that hard. Unfortunately, didn’t get to see all the sites during the tour so asked for the admission tickets so we could walk to see them after the tour. So could have made this maybe a 4hr tour rather than 3hr.
