History with Food tour - Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and made this tour really enjoyable for us. This is more of a history tour than a food tour but we were still full by the time it ended. Beware coming during late spring and summer because it could get very hot and humid. Not advisable for people with mobility issues since this is a walking tour

Best tour ever - great guide in a beautiful city enjoying local food and drink - We did the Cartagena food tour with Jhon as our guide. We were a group of 10 and had a fantastic time. We saw so much of the old city and Jhon was a great guide telling us the history of the areas and pointing out objects of interest. We got to sample lots of different food and drink and it really was exceptional value for money. From communication at the booking point, picking up from the port (we had a great driver too), food choices and information given there wasn't anything we could fault and we heard from several of our group that this was by far the best tour they'd ever taken and we'd definitely agree with that. The shrimp cocktail was probably the best we've ever tasted If you want an authentic tour visiting Cartagena and sampling a lovely selection of local food where the locals eat - this is the tour for you.

Great walking tour - The tour was inclusive of several neighborhoods . Since it was private we stopped at a Cigar shop and grocery store. Our guide Fabian was incredibly knowledgeable and kind, took group photos , offered so much history and Insights into life in Cartagena. I wouldn’t consider it a food tour, we had a empanada, a piece of candy and split pieces of fruit into 8 servings. I’d call it a walking tour w snacks and eat prior . Usually food tours you leave stuffed, definitely not the case here. That’s why the 4 stars, otherwise great

More like a snack tour, we barely had any food and when we did it wasn’t great - This isn’t a good tour it is a history tour. You get snacks along the way. Honestly eat before you come and maybe do the one that is cheaper. This didn’t feel worth it at all. Not only did we not get food it was exhausting as we stood I. The heat to heat history facts. Had we known this was not a proper food tour we would’ve booked something else. Maybe this is good for travelers who will not go out I their own and need a push for some guidance. Wouldn’t recommend for young travelers. It felt like a water of money and a waste of time

You can do better - We anticipated a more gourmet ”food “ tour. Not cart vendors offering very inexpensive food. We had done a history tour in morning and guide made this tour also lots of repeat history.. not what we expected. Of the foods …. One vendor did not have any of the “fruit” offered.. next vendor, line too long…one offer was a beer inside a tiny shop with music blasting and 2 plastic chairs.. Let me close with you can do better then this tour. And they can certainly do better.
