The count’s castle is a amazing building inside the citadel, if you want to visit it, you have to pay your entrance ticket (9 euros per visitor). To finish we will enter in the basilica St-Nazaire and St-Celse to admire this romanesque and gothic jewel!

Excellent walking tour to put everything in context. - Really nice tour, excellent guide, Anna. Hit the right level of detail and put lots of things in context. Would definitely recommend this.

We loved Carcassone, and... - We loved Carcassone, and Anna really brought the history to life. Not just a fortress and castle, but a vibrant community of restaurants and shops within the old city.
