Fusion of African Culture with a taste of the Cape Wine - I have to admit this event was such a surprise. From beginning to end it was such an enjoyable time. The actors took us through a journey of African musical instruments which was narrated by the singing and acting of the Drumstruck cast. That in itself was so well done, but then we were all given our own African instruments and participated in a really fun musical story. The kids and adults loved it. Prior to the Drumstruck event we had been treated to a wine tasting from the Silvermist wine maker himself Greg Louw. We've done a few wine tastings, but this was so interesting and fun at the same time. I fully recommend anyone to go and enjoy this...young and old.

Warm hearts on a cold day - The perfect family experience that we will treasure for a long time. Despite a cold and stormy Cape Town, the space and cast were warm and inviting and I am so glad my young children are getting introduced to theatre in this way. We loved the care and thoughtfulness and respect with which the instruments were introduced and the manner in which participation were invited did not feel awkward or forced for one second, instead it was a shared experience of pure joy and we left with a renewed love for this country, its music and its people. Thank you!

Drumstruck at Silvermist, an event full of colour, entrainment and life! - We went for a birthday celebration with family and friends, not knowing exactly what to expect, but it certainly surpassed our expectations! Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, from the wine tasting, which was informative, personal and with a good selection of wines. Through to the Drumstruck performance which was outstanding, really personal, engaging and interactive, we could not ask for any more! The performers were passionate and full of life. We completed our time with the Braai which again was an excellent standard even for the vegetarian option. We would highly recommend the experience.

What a great place and a wonderful show - We loved the wines and the scenery up there. Very beautiful. The people all very friendly and know their stuff. The show of course is the best of it all. What they managed with the whole group was amazing. And a lot of fun! Sorry I have no pics as only video taken. They are not allowed it seems

Amazing Experience - We were staying at nearby Houtkapperspoort Mountain Estate and booked to visit as part of The Silvermist Wine tasting. The entertainment is amazing, informative but really relaxed. The team are really engaging and everyone gets a go on an instrument at the end. Superb for all, including families. Especially after a glass of wine! we will be back. Thank you.
