Great value day out - Renato the guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable and interesting. A great value day out with the right amount of stops.

Take Excellence With You When You Take the East Side Tour of Madiera - First and foremost, our driver and tour guide, Renato Rodrigues, drove the tour van SAFELY throughout the tour, especially when the road and weather conditions, and bad driving of other drivers, suddenly created hazardous driving conditions. Sustaining such superb skill level at the steering wheel throughout a full day tour is an essential qualification that can not be taken for granted in the challenging road and weather conditions encountered in Madiera. Meanwhile, Renato conducted the tour and his fluent conversations with everyone on the tour in BOTH Portuguese and English! Hence, everyone on the tour understood it. Our tour guide greeted each passenger with a radiant smile and engaged them with a friendly personality that kept them interested in his presentations that balanced a blend of history and humor. When my wife took this tour, she had impaired mobility because of major orthopedic surgery several months before it. I appreciated the wonderful way that Renato ensured that she and each of the other passengers embarked and disembarked the van SAFELY. Brilliant from start to finish !! - We were picked up exactly on time by our guide, he was friendly, funny and very knowledgeable, all of the stops were just the right amount of time and we were shown some stunning scenery and some very special places. He was a very safe driver and we felt relaxed and confident with him. All in all we have no negatives to share it was an all round positive experience, the tour was extremely well organised and superb value for money, we cant thank you enough. Martin & Treena

Fantastic tour, amazing tour guide, A MUST ! - This was an absolutely brilliant tour highly recommend these fantastic company. Sergio was our driver, he was brilliant, informative, caring and could not do enough for us. We were a group of 6, family, celebrating a 80th and 60th birthday. He looked after my mum especially. He even surprised us with a cake !!! He had so much knowledge of the island, great English, and made the tour so interesting. Please use this company, they are brilliant. We will be back.

Wonderful trip - so much variety. - Wonderful trip with an excellent guide. We were introduced to beaches, forest, desert, mountains and agricultural land all in a few hours. Renato was so knowledgeable about the fruits and vegetables we passed, pointing out specimens. Scenery from the viewpoints was stunning too.

Excellent tour & good value. - Really enjoyed the tour especially being above the clouds on Pico Arieira. Gabriel was very informative and fun and Renato an excellent driver. The only downside was that as we didn't book the lunch we had two hours to kill in Santana which is a very quiet and uninteresting town. One hour would have been more than enough. I appreciate that the people having lunch needed that time so maybe stop in a more interesting town. Machico looked much nicer!

A pleasant introduction of the east of Madeira - In the description you will find the routes, I would like to share some photos. The service was excellent from start to finish, we had Renato Rodrigues as a cheerful guide, because of his headset everyone on the bus can hear him easily. 😃 I do reveal that the lunch stop is highly recommended. The stops are pleasant and last an average of 30 minutes, which is long enough to admire the town.

Enjoyable trip of one side of beautiful island - Santana, lovely town where we had a long stop. One criticism. The tour advertised traditional wicker basket making at Camacha, but when we got there, the guide said that it had stopped during covid and not restarted. Coupled with rainy weather, the last third of the tour was a washout.

Great driver - Even though our trip got cut short due to problems with the car, the driver was lovely & very informative. He told us alot about the country and specific places would do it again if i had more time but was leaving next day.
