Twelve hundred feet above the Napa Valley floor on Pritchard Hill, Chappellet offers an intimate insight into beautiful Wine Country and its wines. The family-run vineyard has been producing phenomenal cabernet sauvignons for more than 40 years. Pluck a grape while strolling—glass in hand—through the vineyards with epic views of Lake Hennessey and the surrounding hills. Then, tour the facility for a peek at the process behind the produce. While the grounds are exceptional, you’re probably here to catch their renowned cabs, which you can enjoy on a winery tour, or on their own. Regardless of your choice, both the tastes and vistas here are some of the region’s most memorable.

When in Napa, definitely make the beautiful, albeit challenging drive up to Chappellet. The tasting/tour is informative and gives the history of the Chappellet family, and you get a killer view of Lake Hennessey and the surrounding area below. Most importantly, their wines are fantastic! It can get chilly in the building, so bring a jacket! Highly recommended tasting experience.
